'Cause I just mistook a bottle of hand sanitizer spray for breath spray. Barf.

I put my wallet in the freezer and found it after I reported my work credit card missing.
Sigh.

I was seated at the restaurant where I always meet my friend for lunch when she's in town. THEN, I remembered we were meeting at a different restaurant! Luckily it was only 5 minutes away. I did NOT tell her

I used 'Netflix and chill' in a conversation, not realizing the full extent of the 'chill' part of that term. Luckily, the other part gently educated me before laughing at me. Urban Dictionary is my new best friend.

Last night I tried to light my kitchen on fire with a grease fire. I didn't realize I left the wok on the wrong burner with the olive oil. I hope I didn't ruin the wok. I know they can stand the heat but it left a pretty dark spot and the smell was horrible!! LOL! It's beeen a stressful few days so my minds beeen in fog.

I was ready to throw my stupid phone out the window today. I hate my samsung galaxy with a passion! I am stuck with it for 2 yrs. I am ready for an iphone, my teens can't even use my samsung (and they are phone experts!).

Lost my credit card. I haven't seen it since yesterday morning and I've looked everywhere. I went ahead and called and canceled it, so now I have to go through all the things that were automatically billed to and linked to this card. What a dumb mistake!

I was driving dd#2 and Grandma home from riding the other night and we needed to stop for gas ... I'm tooling along on the freeway and get off on the exit and Grandma says "I've never thought of going this way!" ... I had exited too soon but it was all good ... just had to drive a bit farther

My son found the card 2 weeks later, under the carpet/runner in the kitchen. I have no idea how it got there, and it would have been a long time before I found it. I generally do a half assed mop job in the kitchen.

At 35 weeks pregnant was trying to clean some stuff that I could (should) have added the house clearer to do the next time they came. And in doing so fell down three steps straight on to my belly (since I couldn't see my feet because I had stuff in my hands). Thankfully everything seems to be fine, but I had to spend five hours hooked up to machines at labor and delivery to make sure. Now I'm paranoid about every little twinge.

Let a piece of glass fall onto my ankle yesterday. Totally a careless action on my part. Bled like it had been amputated. Blood all over the floor and soaking my shoe and pants leg. It's only a 1/2 inch cut and not deep, just hit a vein I guess. But I felt stupid, stupid, stupid, for not paying attention to what I was doing.

I think I have done most of the things on this thread (except the debate). I have already learned my lesson there. Thankfully I have a great sense of humor and entertain myself frequently. I say if everyone is still alive and the house is still standing, it's all good.

Went to my to pick up my MS DD from band festival practice. I'm texting her asking where she is. She's in front of the school. I'm in front of the school. We can't find each other. I'm having a hot flash. I tell her I'm going to get out of the f-ing car, and wave my arms like a idiot, so she can see me, and I do. She still can't see me. Hot flash is getting worse. I ask her to describe, again, exactly where she is. I've picked her up for three years in the same spot, this shouldn't be hard. As she describes her exact location, I look around, and realize I'm at DS HS, where I have picked him up for 3 years, not DD MS. The schools are a 2 blocks apart, and both kids are in year round activities, so I'm at both schools almost daily. FU hot flashes, and perimenopausel brain fog.

Knocked a big box of Kleenex on the floor behind an end table in our family room and forgot about it. Went out to dinner last night. Our two 2-1/2 yr old beagles found the box. Came home to 200 Kleenex shredded all over the family room floor, couch, chair and ottoman. They appeared to have had a lot of fun.
Good thing they are so cute.

Backed my car out of the garage without putting the garage door up.
In my defense it was on the way to school the morning after one of my students died. Due to the makeup of my school, I knew I would be breaking the news to 95% of my class.
(This was several months ago, and my kiddos are doing great. We remember him fondly and talk about our special friend often)

I belly-planted at work when pregnant with my first child. It does unnerve you, but chances are everything is fine since you've been checked out. Won't be long now you'll be posting pictures of that new little baby for us to ooh and aah over!

Mine is nothing compared to some of these. Yesterday, I made the sausage and potato stew DH loves. It goes in the crock pot. What did I do? I put the tomatoes, sausage and seasonings in the pot. Forgot the potatoes. At 5, when you're supposed to put in the zucchini, I realized I forgot the potatoes. I quickly nuked the potatoes on the baked potato setting, cut them up and tossed them in with the zucchini and hoped DH wouldn't notice. Not only did he not notice, he actually thought they were better!

Last night I gave medicine to the wrong cat. I've been giving Cassie her prozac treat every night for five years. Whey did I think that Percy should have it last night? Weird.
It's something every day around here. The day before I spilled a pound of dry ziti on the floor, which wouldn't be too bad except that I had dropped a glass of orange juice on the floor about 10 seconds earlier.

Months ago, I backed out of our garage like always but I forgot that DD had just come home from college for the weekend. My back bumper hit her front bumper. Coming off an exit, there's a stop light but of course we can turn right on red. I'm looking over to my left to see if it's clear and I can go right. It's clear. I go. The guy in front of me however had not gone yet. It only did paint damage to my bumper but it sure dented the back of his car. Ugh. I now have matching spots on front and back with messed up paint.

I rubbed my eye after handling jalapeños.
I also stuck one of those heating pads (fabric filled with rice) into the microwave, not realizing that the piece of paper that was attached to it, was stuck on with a "safety" pin. Oops!

I just found out that I got a C on an assignment because I forgot to post it to the class wiki. I had the wiki pulled up... Read the directions on how to post to it (because I didn't know WTF a wiki was before this assignment)... And then forgot all about it!
Ugh... I hate when I get in my own way.
