The baby is ready for a high chair, but my three-year-old is still using our Stokke seat. Anyone have a high chair they love that they would recommend? I love our Stokke seat as a chair but didn't love it when it was in high chair mode. I had the sort of high chair that straps to a dining chair for the other kids, but have newish upholstered dining chairs that such a thing would ruin, so would rather not go that route again. Easy to clean is a big plus.

We used a Graco one. It had a vinyl coated pad that could be removed and the rest seemed to clean up easy enough. It was a folding one so we could tuck it away if needed. We used it through two kids and donated it to daycare for more use. The daycare removed the pad and it works just fine without it.

I have the cheap, plain one from IKEA and I love it. You can slide it right up to our kitchen table with the tray off and it's awesome! It's very basic, but to me that's a plus.

I was going to recommend the Stokke, but you said you weren't a fan of the infant thing. Did you have it with the tray? We got our second one super cheap on Craigslist, I have learned you have to stalk CL to get a good deal!

Someone IRL recommended the IKEA high chair, so for $19.99, I'll give it a try.
I found it hard to maneuver my infants in and out of the stokke infant thing. Could just be me.

We had my husband' s old metal high chair. We didn't use the tray much. I had one of those pouches that held baby in place.

We loved the Boon Pedestal high chair. Super easy to clean.

We had a Boon and it was the best high chair I've ever used. Small footprint, easy to move around, super easy to clean. Kinda spendy, but I really loved it.

We had a graco contempo. I liked that it had two covers so I could toss one in the wash. That said it had too many crevices, and was a bit time consuming to switch the covers. I wouldn't recommend that one. This was a few years ago.

Have you seen Evenflo's? We had theirs when dd was little. It didn't look like th Evenflois, but I've held onto it. It was a high chair, booster chair and chair/table all in one. Here is what they have now....make sure to scroll down to see what all it does. Evenflo

My sister has the IKEA one. I really like it. It's all one piece which is good if you don't need to take it anywhere.
We have a graco one (it's 5 years old and will be used for kiddo #2 arriving next week) and I like ours too. I like ours because you can take the seat part off and attach it to a regular chair.
