Blake Lewis, that was the beat boxer's full name. Yeah, he's one of my all-time favorites. Also, I wanted to add, I don't want to take away from those original judges. They were fun. Also, although Paula was sometimes out of it, I really did love her enthusiasm. I loved the way she almost always got up and danced while listening to the performances--just like she was at a concert. That was so endearing. And while watching her and Simon argue was entertaining at times, there is just something about this current group of judges. I think it's that they're all grown ups! I agree ... they give feedback that could really help the contestants become artists ... they don't waste time bickering between each other, they just focus on the singer which really should be the whole point of the show

I've been watching loyalty ever since my love Steven Tyler was on. These 3 judges really jell together.
My favorite by far this year is Dalton. ❤️

I am surprised at how many love Dalton. No one in our family cares for him. He may be the winner if there are so many of you that love him.

Isn't funny how people have different taste I love him because I think he is a true artist the way he switches up songs to make them his own ... as we have discussed above that David Cook and Adam Lambert were masters at ... and he's definitely not hard on the eyes ... oh, to be 16 again I don't know that he will win but neither did Adam or Chris Daughtry and they are successful

We like our men with dark hair. LOL!

This is my first season to ever watch and now I'm bummed that I missed out all those years. DH had watched every season until we met in 2013 and it was important for him to watch the last season so I'm watching with him and LOVING it.
I've always loved Kelly Clarkson so I especially enjoyed her song and her appearance as a guest judge. I'm a Daughtry fan as well so I was happy to see him come back for the duets. I also kind of like David Cook but it has been interesting to see that DH cannot stand him AT ALL. I don't know what David did the season he was on to make my DH decide that he's so arrogant and cocky but DH wants to fast forward anytime David's name is so much as mentioned.
I love LaPorsha (and loved that she handed her baby to J-Lo during auditions) but I find myself mesmerized by her hair. I almost have to close my eyes when she sings because I find myself doing nothing when I watch her but staring at her hair.
Dalton is SO pretty and a great performer. We both really like Tristan.
DH was glad to see Jeneve (was that her name? the girl that always wore a hat and lived without electricity) go - he was to the point that she needed to lose the hat or go home - and what do you know - I think she got sent home the first time she sang without a hat.

Hat or no, she got sent home the first time the audience had the opportunity to vote!

That is weird about your husband not liking Cookie because he was arrogant, because he never came across that way not even a little on the show. In fact one week one of the girls wanted the same song he had chosen to sing and normally what they do in that situation is they draw names out of a hat, but he let her have the song and picked a different song at the last minute. I think he came across very humble, if you watch when they announce the winner he kind of puts his head down like he thought he lost and seemed genuinely surprised when he won. Granted I love him, and have seen him twice in concert and met him once, but arrogant is the last thing I would describe him as.

I also loved Blake (can't remember his last name) who did all the beat boxing. I loved his arrangement of You Give Love a Bad Name and also his performances of Time of the Season and Mack the Knife. Loved that kid! Blake Lewis That was one of my favorite performances on the show, ever. Kelly Clarkson singing Respect was another favorite. This is the first season I've watched in years. My favorites are Dalton & Mackenzie. I love Trent's voice, but I think it's hard to watch him sing. I am SO glad that they did not keep the young folk/country girl. I didn't like her AT ALL. I miss the original judges, I really wish they had come back for the final season. I like Harry Connick Jr, I don't mind Jennifer Lopez, but I can't stand Keith Urban. He gives me the heebie jeebies.

I've watched every season.
Kelly Clarkson. She's in a league of her own.
What a performance!
She was great to watch throughout the show, and then to top it like that. A- MAZING!

We have been watching....can't say I am a huge Dalton fan but he is OK. What is IM5??
I thought that Tristan was the best but she has not done as well the last two weeks and I think Sonika is doing much better than her. I like that Trent is getting a good shot considering he had mono during Hollywood week!
Mackenzie was on the Voice and didn't win and now he is on here? I don't know...seems like some record company would have picked him up by now if he was that good.....
You would really want Randy Jackson back saying "DAWG you were pitchy" and Paula in la-la land over Jen, Harry and Keith? LOLOL

It was so nice to see the top 4 actually pull it out tonight! Lovely night. Mostly enjoys, less cringing.
I will be sad to see any of the top 4 go. LaPosrshe has done so well for so long, you expect the best from her and it sounds meh now while the 3 guys sounded amazing. We'll see!

Very pleased with the top 4 and loved seeing Cookie on there too. I thought McKenzie and Laporshe were both just ok tonight, I loved Trent and Dalton, but then again I always love Dalton. I so want him to do well. I think it is I interesting only after his songs does Harry remind people to vote. He is usually so impartial, I think he is rooting for him too. I would buy Dalton's music now, and I told my husband if he winds we are going to drag our too old selves to the AI concert! Dalton just moves me when he sings, and I love that he seems to value and listen to the judges critiques.
