We haven't even done our taxes yet. This is the longest we have ever waited. We usually have them done by Feb. 1.

I wish. We haven't even started ours yet, and I know we're going to owe. A lot. And no amount of procrastination is going to make it hurt any less. I really miss the days of refunds.

We did ours last month and got it back a lot faster than expected. Sadly, we have to use it for house upgrades to sell our dang house.

I read in the paper that all refunds will be delayed this year. I THINK it is connected to efforts made to ensure there is no identity theft going on. Since several big companies were hit with theft of info, apparently the IRS is working to make sure the refund is going to the correct place.
We have not filed ours yet. An investment we have ALWAYS sends the information after March 15, so we have to wait every year. We try to file right after we get that information..........We COULD go ahead and file, but it would mean then sending a corrected form and all the paperwork that entails.

We have ours in. So hoping it comes a ton faster than they are saying (both state and federal). I have something it's being used for and the longer we wait, the chances are it's going to cost more.

We used the same preparer at H&R Block that we have used since before we got married! At least 39-40 years. I am going to call her tomorrow, if we don't have it.

We got our federal in a few weeks (auto deposit) but they never sent an email that they received it, or deposited it. It just showed up in the bank account.
The state (filed snail mail) we are still waiting on, it's been over a month but this is normal.

We had ours done last week. The refund was deposited in our checking account in about a week. Then today, my sister called and she was just getting the estate taxes done for our brothers estate. Apparently I have a K-1 form coming and now I have to have my taxes redone and pay back some of my return. Gah. So annoying.

First time we were due a refund in so many years. But we applied it against our next pre-payment.

We owe a couple hundred in federal taxes. I will write that check this weekend. We are getting a refund from the state - but Illinois didn't even start processing refunds until March 1, so who knows how long it will take to get that?

We have not done ours yet either. My husband still getting some business stuff together. I am still living in fear we owe and hoping for a refund of any kind. My daughter getting married this fall and the extra money of a refund would sure be nice. Therefore I am petrified we owe.

We don't even have all our papers yet. Although I did organize what we do have today to figure out what we were missing. We aim for zero paid zero refunded though so don't expect a refund

I haven't even filed yet. Heck, I haven't even called my tax lady an appointment!
I did go through my "bucket 'o bills" this morning to log them into my bill spreadsheet and I put everything for the tax prep into a zipper pouch so nothing gets lost. I guess I had best get on that this week.

We got our state in about a week, it will be 4 weeks on Saturday for federal. See, I'm the opposite. I got my fed back in less than 2 weeks. I'm still waiting for State and I filed on Feb 5th. I talked to a friend at work and she said it took over a month for her to get her state back and she filed like the 2nd week in Jan. I just keep checking the MN state website for where is my refund. I actually called on Monday as I was so worried I did something wrong and she assured me everything was fine, and everything is in process.
