I need to get a new mop, so thought I would check to see if any peas have a favorite that they would recommend. It is for a tile floor in the kitchen.

The one that comes with the maid I have a Cedar one that folds up which is kind of nice and keep thinking about one of those shark steamers. I used to buy the Swifter ones but they pretty much suck both the one that spritzes liquid and the dry mop.

It's called "twist and shout"--has loads of reviews on Amazon and believe it or not I find it "fun"!!

I have a favorite book, a favorite movie, a favorite restaurant... I just can't have a favorite mop. It's just too sad. I do have a mop that works--it's a Haan steam mop. I bought extra pads (washable) and can go 20 minutes on one tank of water--about the time it takes for a pad to get too wet.

A steam mop. My tile has never looked better. I have a Bissell one that I picked up a few months back. I have an Ocedar easy wring mop and bucket for major messes, but rarely use it now. I still like it, but it's a hassle compared to the steam.

I have no choice but to mop. I have wasted so much money on crappy mops that don't work well, and we are on a tight budget, so wanted to buy one that's recommended. So thought I would ask the peas!

O-Cedar Easy Ring Mop It's like the Twist and Shout, but I think it's made of sturdier plastic and you can get the refill mop heads at Walmart for $8. L

I just have a Libman Wonder twist mop, the mop part can be washed a few times in the washer & easily replaceable. It's cheap enough & cleans well. But, my favorite thing I own for mopping...a bucket on wheels! I know, it's the simple things, but it has taken me years to realize this simple thing. Make mopping so much easier.

I have always used a sponge mop on my tile floors and its great. I have always thought the cleaner was what does the trick. I use a tile floor cleaner and once ever 6 months I clean the grout with woolite cleaner for clothes and sweaters-it makes my white grout bright! Learned it from a grout guy about ten years ago.

Oh I might have to try this trick with the grout. I use a sponge mop as well, but all this talk about steam mops is giving me mop envy

I checked the link and it looks like something that would be nice to use. I have no storage in my house, so I was hesitant to consider something with a big "bucket", but I think I could put it in the garage.

The head is a little big to really get in there and do a good job.
