I liked it okay, but didn't think it was as awesome as so many seem to. There were some cute scenes, but also some that were too scary for little ones.

Saw it this afternoon and I liked it. Definitely some jokes that only adults, and maybe even only older adults, might get but they were still funny. The fox character is classic Jason Batemen. He was great voicing that character.

I fell asleep while watching it today with my 9 year old DD. I did enjoy Jason Bateman though.

We saw it the day after it opened and I absolutely loved it. There were a lot of little hidden Disney things. I totally cracked up when the weasel was selling the bootleg movies and mentioned that he had titles that weren't even out yet... and they flashed to mock ups of Disney movies that are coming in the next year or two but not out yet. Love all the jokes!

Both DD9 and I enjoyed it, it definitely has something for both kids and adults. And my DN22, who is a Pixar geek, enjoyed it as well. It might be a bit too scary for the youngest kids, though.

I thought it was fantastic. My DD had to go to the restroom in the middle of it, so I want to go see it again without interruptions. We were in LA on spring break and saw it at the El Capitan theater. The whole evening was awesome.

Now that you mention it, my friend's ds10 went with a group for a birthday party. He (the child) said all the kids in his group were pretty scared at one point.
I haven't seen the movie yet.

My 7 year old dd wasn't scared and she is very sensitive. We thought it was fantastic too. Even my DH and 14 year old loved it. DH laughed his head off at the sloths.

I went with my 10 and 13 year olds and we all really liked it! It was cute and different than most kids movies. My kids even said they'd like to buy it when t comes out, and we don't buy very many movies!

I know I'm really late here. I had zero interest in seeing this movie. But my kids wanted to rent it on demand last night and I happened to be in the room. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it! I thought it had great themes and lessons. You definitely get caught up in the story - at that one scene with the sauna or whatever I found myself hiding my eyes! Ewww and LOL at my stupidity at the same time.

I was glad to see a kids' movie that didn't kill off any parents for once.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was as much - and possibly more -- for adults than as for kids.

My oldest dd (age 20) and I saw it at the movies. I thought it was really cute. I went ahead and bought the dvd too, because I know they'll want to watch it again.

My favorite scene was the DMV scene with the sloths. I agree. I I saw it with ds's family opening day. The 4 year old was scared in one spot but otherwise really enjoyed it

My youngest saw it with her friends for a birthday party and my other kids had no interest in seeing it, so I caught it at a bargain matinee. By myself. The only lone adult among parents and their kids. My kids made fun of me later but I loved every minute of the movie.

DH rented it and we watched it tonight. Really fun movie! We were interested in seeing it because of hearing J Mays speak a couple of months ago at the Museum of Fine Arts. J Mays is a noted car designer (Audi, BMW, VW - the New Beetle) and designed all the cars for the animals in Zootopia. The movie was coming out the following week so he only showed a few pictures, but talked about what it was like to match cars to each animal. Here is a great article w/pictures where he talks about each characters car: The Cars of Zootopia: What Would a Moose Drive

We saw it back in April. It terrified my 5yo, he still talks about it. I feel awful because he sat silently mesmerized during the whole thing, I had no idea he was scared this is the kid who has seen all of the Transformers movies, avengers, iron man, etc. He loves all of those but Zootopia was different for some reason. Anyhow, I think it's a cute movie but use caution when watching with young kids.
