I spent the last 4 days hiking at least 5 miles per day with a 30 pound pack on my back. Now the day after coming home my right calf is so severely cramped I walk with a limp and it is visibly stiff. Any tips on how to ease the tension? I have to go to work tomorrow and I'm on my feet the majority of my day.

I second the ice and advil - or aleve. Try the stretching, but don't over do it.
The other thing you can do is start chugging water. My calves get cramped whenever I'm even a little dehydrated.
Feel better!

Do you have a foam roller or even a softball? Roll the tight part over the roller or ball and it should help loosen the muscle.

I'd do an epsom salt bath and take some magnesium. I'd also use some icy hot or other muscle relaxer type product.

A rolling pin works for me.

Gentle stretching and some self massage. Sounds like you've just overworked it.
