Have galaxy s4...and almost all my apps, and my pics, are on SD card. Yet I can't get emails because it says not enough space on storage device!? What the heck... **update..so we went to Verizon tonight as dh was due to upgrade his phone..and they had a promotion of buy 1 get 1 for the new S7..so I got me a new phone..so hopefully no more storage issues

Ideal with this on a weekly basis! I have a Galaxy 5. It's all the stupid unused apps that Galaxy puts on the phone that you CAN'T remove! If you find a solution, please share.

Yea I've noticed that a ton of them you can't move...and most of those I never use!

Try clearing your cache. It should free up enough room that your problem will go away for a little while (I have to do this every few weeks or so).

Check your deleted emails. I had like 11k one time and it was taking up a ton of room! Also check your downloads.

I think it's best to log in to email on computer and delete them there right?

I just deleted 4K trash emails. I had just put in a new SD card a couple of weeks ago and moved all my pics over to that. Deleted apps that I knew hadn't been used or would be used. Still didn't get a lot of clean up on storage space. Well, that's not true. Moving the pictures were a huge move but still I wondered what could still be taking up so much space. I do clean out the cache every so often. I have a Galaxy S3.

I got that message once and I removed many photos and that helped. Now, I'm going to try to clear the cache.

I have an S4. It's true you can't delete the pre-installed crapware, but you can turn some it off and stop updates and clear history and cache on the same screen. Its under Settings, Application Manager, then thumb right to Running or All. If you're not sure if an app can be turned off safely just Google the name of the app.
Also I periodically remove the battery for 1 minute or so then put it back in and let the phone restart. My Verizon guy told me this trick.
