I don't know about everyone else but I'm sick of the vinegar and tablet method. It's messy and a pain in the butt. What other fun ideas does everyone have??

I don't know if it's fun, but I never use the tablets. I just use food coloring like this: link

Not sure what you mean about the tablet. We always just used hot water and a few drops of food colouring. Martha Stewart has lots of ideas. I also saw a fun example of using glue dots and then rolling the eggs in glitter or similar to coat the 'spots'.

Ugh. I hate coloring Easter eggs. Unfortunately, my three girls LOVE it and begged, begged, begged to please color eggs. I bought some of the fake dye-able eggs at Michael's this year. Since they don't sink in the water, we did the shaving cream method. They came out great, but HOLY MOLY was this messy. My girls, of course, loved it. I'm just glad we did it a while ago so they don't have food-coloring stained hands for Easter Sunday. Shaving Cream Eggs

I used the Kool-Aid dying method one year that I found on Pinterest and I loved how the eggs turned out.
