How many do you have of each?
I have a bundle of crochet hooks , probably 20. Many duplicates. I am sure I have more elsewhere.
Knitting needles. No duplicates, but many different types

Duplicates of most of both hooks and needles!

I have many duplicate sets of needles. You never know when you will decide to put one project down and start another but need the same size needles! At any given time, I have at least two different socks going so I need multiple sets of needles for those. I almost always have a scarf or cowl and a hat going too at the same time, often needing the same size needles.

I have several duplicates of knitting needles - sometimes I have more than one project going, which both need the same size. I don't crochet often (or very well), so I only have a couple of those.

Crochet hooks: 2 of each....knitting needles: lots of duplicates in all sizes, mostly because I usually have a minimum of five ongoing projects.

Probably a dozen or more crochet hooks. My kids "borrow" them to work on a project and they disappear. Like scissors. And Scotch tape. Grr...

I was trying out different brands to get the feel of each and have several full set of hooks as a result. It is nice to have different ones though as they each have different attributes.

Umpteen. I inherited my grandmother's and MIL's. However, I don't use them as they are metal, and I love my bamboo hooks, which are gentle on the fingers. I never knit these days.

Too many to count! I mostly knit and I have several sets in each size, sometimes 3 or 4.
I crochet on occasion and have an entire set with some duplicates there.

Probably too many. I have two sets of interchangables. One set is sizes 4-11, and the other is sizes 5-15. Both come with several different cord sizes. I also have a set of short tip interchangables which I primarily use for hats, and they run from size 4-10.
I have a number of assorted dpns (all bamboo), several different fixed circulars (about 6 that I can think of right now), and a vase full of assorted straight needles (primarily bamboo), which I rarely use at all anymore, as I prefer the interchangables/circulars.
I have 4 crochet hooks, which I use for correcting mistakes in my knitting.

I hadn't counted them before but I do have photos of them - HERE
It appears I have 16 crochet hooks (various sizes and styles) and 11 knitting needles (only one duplicate)

I have several interchangeable sets of knitting needles, with each having multiple tips of some sizes; probably 20-30 circular needles, many of them being duplicates, several sets of dpns in different sizes (000 - 4, 4-8, etc) in different woods and metals.
I have almost as many needles as I do skeins of yarn. Not really - my yarn is out of control. LOL

I have at least 2 sets of crochet hooks. My go to books are H & I so I have at least 4/5 of those. I'm always misplacing them or the cats bat them off my end tables and lose them.

I have a set of B-N with bamboo handles, a Q, and two giant wooden ones that looked like fun at HL but I can't use because my hands are too small.
I also have a set of Tunisian hooks I bought from ebay. Haven't really used them yet.
One lace hook, and then a few assorted metal hooks I had before I discovered the bamboo handled ones.
Also have a ton of knitting needles from the thrift store but I don't know how to use them.
