One of our stacks on our roof is leaking and causing damage to our bedroom ceiling. We need to have it caulked. Would we call a roofing company to do that? Or, someone else?
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!

See if you have Mr Handyman mrhandyman209.reachlocal.net/local-handyman-service/#~13x5r1Or a legit other handyman service or someone who is well-regarded in your area. This happened to us and first instinct was to call a roofer (despite never interacting with an honest one). Fortunately they failed to show and I got to googling and saw we'd just need this metal surround for the stack Installed. It can be found at any home improvement store and hubby watched Youtube videos About how to install, but ultimately I didn't want him up on the ladder/roof. Found the Mr Handyman Site and saw that the local one does so much, so called and asked them about it. They said no problem at all But couldnt schedule for a couple of weeks, so I sent him up into the attic to tie a big towel around the stack to catch drips In case we got any rain before then and it worked. They brought the stack surround things with them ( had them do both just in case) and the whole deal was $200-something Dollars instead of a whole new roof. That was over a year ago, and hope that extended out roof for much longer. Legit handyman guys have grown up doing all this stuff, even building houses. Their goal is Repeat business for when everything else in the house goes wrong. Good luck and ignore the random capitalizing at each new line and sentence breaks in weird places, ipad doing that for some reason.
