I came across this site while surfing and wondered whether it's a good deal or not? I was looking at a few purchases at a home improvement store and thought it might save me some money on spring planting supplies. I'd be curious on your feedback.

I have NOT used raise.com but I have used a similar website called cardpool.com. I was really unsure the first time I used it but decided that the few gift cards I had were not going to be used. So I might as well take a chance and try and exchange them. Since then I have purchased other gift cards from the site at a discount and haven't had any problems when going to use them.

My BFF uses raise all the time. They purchase gift cards on there for just about everything they do.

I've used raise.com and cardpool.com with success. I've only sold on cardpool though since they offered me more money on the gift cards I was trying to get rid of.

I used raise before my last Disney trip. I bought Target gift cards at a discount then used those to buy Disney gift cards using my Red Card discount. The transactions were very smooth. If I remember correctly, they did call before the first one to verify.

Interesting ideas. We save all the $5.00 target cards we get when it's buy so many products, get a gift card thing and use those to purchase Disney cards. I might have to check both of these sites out. We've accumulated a lot of JC Penney gift cards and just don't have a use to spend them.

I keep looking into it, but haven't done it yet. Some of the ones that I'm interested in don't have that much of a discount (although I guess it all adds up in the long run). Some of the ones I see that have the largest % savings are like $500 GCs and I won't need that much. My DH saw the founder of Raise at a conference and was impressed by him, FWIW.
