Thanks for indulging me and allowing me to share. I have a new video I have just finished - the highlights of our one-week trip to Belize over March Break. This video was probably shot 40% on my GoPro, 40% on my Canon SLR, and the other 20% split between my iPhone and a Panasonic waterproof action camera I have had for a few years. Belize is a beautiful destination - home to the second largest barrier reef in the world. We stayed in the central coast area as we wanted to explore the mainland jungle as well as the reef. Belizean tourist infrastructure is very basic. We visited Costa Rica a couple years ago and mainland Belize is far less developed than that (though I understand that some of the larger cayes, which we did not visit, are much more developed). If you like all-inclusive resorts, Belize isn't for you, but if you're looking for a part of the world that is beautiful and tropical yet largely untouched - this might be the right fit. Thanks for letting me share.

Love your video! What lens setting do you use on your GoPro because I notice you don't have the fisheye effect.

Your videos are always so amazing, I love them! I've probably asked you this before, but what program do you use to put it together? You must spend a lot of time doing it - little things like in the background music when the guy is singing "1, 2, 3, 4" and you had that in time to your kids climbing the steps. Oh, and I literally LOL'd when your husband fell off the paddle board!

Thank you all for the kind comments! Love your video! What lens setting do you use on your GoPro because I notice you don't have the fisheye effect. I don't use SuperView on the GoPro, which is the extra-wide field of view. I use "Wide" which is the standard. It gives less of a fisheye effect. Note that some parts of the movie were shot with other cameras with even narrower fields of view, but as an example, the GoPro was used for the zip lining, the boat trip up Monkey River, the Xunantunich Mayan ruins scenes, and most of the snorkelling. I find the GoPro does not fisheye too badly but the problem it presents is that anything that isn't close to the camera appears really far away. I use iMovie to do the editing… it's a simple program but it works. I go through all my footage and scrub out the best ~20 minutes or so from the trip. Once I had that pool of footage narrowed down, it probably took another 4-5 hours to put it all together - mostly syncing the action up with the music and trying to get it all within the allotted time. great video! Did i see the crocodile guy on ambergris caye your video? we went to hopkins also. It was great fun! Is there a famous crocodile guy? LOL… I'm not sure. Our guide's name was Cliff, and the trip was up the Sittee River on the mainland (not Ambergris). When he reached into the water and grabbed that croc and brought it on the boat, I thought my DD was going to jump out the other side. (Poor girl!)
