Our show is on tonight!! Whooo!
Here is a summary from a website I found ...
"What I Cannot Change" - A familiar face-Juliette Barnes-finally returns to NASHVILLE after receiving treatment for postpartum depression and finds herself at a critical crossroads upon her homecoming. Layla, weeks away from launching her first album, courts country-music superstar Autumn Chase (played by Alicia Witt) in order to secure an opening slot on her tour. Rayna, while shepherding Layla, is motivated to take up a worthy cause. Elsewhere, Will decides to produce his own record, and Colt presents Luke with a difficult proposition, on "Nashville," WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT) on the ABC Television Network.
Also, I read on facebook that sometime this season Elton John will be making an appearance!
Cool!

Darn it! I had deleted from DVR, now I'll be sucked back on. I like Alicia Witt, she could do a cute job as a country singer!

I'm glad Juliette is back. The show is fairly dull without her. Hayden also has the best voice so I'm hoping the previews of her singing mean she has a new song for us.

Nashville is again a 'bubble show' as the network decides whether to bring it back or not. I don't think it is produced by ABC. If it were that would give them more incentive as they would have overseas sales rights. USAToday does a Save Our Shows survey and gives you a chance to make your case for why you want to save one show in particular: Save Our Shows

I didn't get a chance to watch last night ... It's on my DVR. Once I get the kids to bed, I'll watch tonight. ;-)

It was nice not having Rayna's girls on this week.

I like this week's episode. It was so good to see Juliette back and especially a calm, peaceful, Juliette, I like when her character acts that way (instead of being the spoiled brat). That song she sang when she was putting the baby to bed was so sweet and her voice was amazing!
Layla has really grown on me. I didn't like her at first and when I thought they were going to kill her off (that time in the pool when she overdosed), I was kind of glad but now I am so glad they kept her around. She is really talented.
Poor Will - everyone left him high and dry.
I, too, was kind of glad to get a break from Rayna's kids this week. I like them but it was nice to have the focus on something else for a change.

I finally finished watching the episode. Our power went out due to a storm for 3 1/2 hours Thursday evening leaving us with a lot to make up the next couple of nights.
I'm happy that Will finally caught a break. His story has always been the most interesting to me because as far as I know country music is the only genre that does not have an openly gay star. What would happen if someone came out? Would fans be receptive?
I was also glad to see Cole enlist and that Luke, who I have never liked, finally came to his senses. His son would never have said something like 'excuse me, I have chores to do' at the end of a conversation before. The kid clearly has done well his his grandfather.
There is still an issue with the show in that they wrap things up too quickly. Deacon and his partner patched things up and are back to friends. Juliette and Avery seem on their way to reconciling or at least coexisting peacefully after she has only been out of therapy for one day. While it is nice to see everyone get a good ending, it makes for a boring show.
