I've posted before regarding buying one for my grille loving DH. I just realized I and the one wanting to do this.
Any RefuPas smoke? What's a good beginner smoker? I want to start small, 1-3 meals at a time.

We have a smoker, but only smoke during the summer. Neither one of us has time to tend to the smoker during the scholarship year.
Smoke turkey, ham, pork butt, brisket...

We have a Traeger and use it for everything. But I used to work there so I'm biased. We really do use it year round (in Michigan) - everything from turkey to baking cookies. I love just throwing a frozen pizza on it.

We have an Oklahoma Joe's smoker. We have made ribs, pulled pork, whole turkey, whole chicken and salmon in it and its two predecessors. My DH is the"artiste" and I am his trusty sidekick. We use charcoal and wood chips. The two things I have learned are to keep the temperature low and to match the wood chips to the meat.

I love my Big Green Egg - it's excellent for low-heat smoking and high-heat (700-800) grilling.

We were gifted with a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker last year - I'm not sure where it's from but I'm sure it wasn't very expensive and probably came from Sam's Club or somewhere like that. I don't think we would have chosen electric but I have to say that it's super easy and the meat has been great. We've done pork loin, brisket and chicken.

We have an Oklahoma Joe now but we used for years (and still do) our Weber kettle charcoal grill. I bought a smoker kit separately for it. It has the steel box for wood chips chimney thing, etc. Believe me, it will smoke some really tasty stuff! That's a great way to start out 'small'. We smoke pork loin (inject with Apple juice and wrap in bacon OMG) , bone-in chicken, ribs, brisket. Here's what we do with our Weber but we use 2 charcoal holders on each side. The water keeps things moist. link

We also have a Traeger and love that it doesn't need tending other than basting/saucing. It maintains its own consistent temperature. It doesn't do high heat, so I've kept my gas grill for things that need a nice sear. If you have a really thick steak, you can sear it on the grill and finish it on the Traeger for that wood grill flavor. Delicious!

I'm craving smoked vegetables now. I have a Ronco Showtime Rotisserie, don't laugh. I wonder if I can put smoke chips in it? We normally use it outside, on a covered porch.

I'm an EggHead. I have a large Big Green Egg and it is da BOMB. I agree with @dalai Mama I can smoke all day long at 250 or fire it up 700+ for a steak or whatever. I've done all types of meats, veggies and pizzas. I've even done an amazing smoked mac-n-cheese that is to DIE for.
I love cooking with my Dutch oven on the Egg. Super easy and kinda fun to experiment with.

DH got a Weber Smokey Mountain smoker for our anniversary last year. He LOVES that thing! It makes some really fantastic meats, too.

We have a Camp Chef smoker. My husband said it keeps a consistent temperature. He's done salmon, turkey, chicken, and ribs. I've never used it. I like the idea of throwing a frozen pizza on there.

We have a Pit Barrel Cooker that my DH is basically obsessed with. Apparently it's very highly reviewed. He was a beginner and their website has very clear videos for just about everything you want to make. He's been really pleased with how it all turns out and after trying the stuff he smokes, several friends have bought their own.

We have two smokers - a Green Egg and a Memphis. The Green Egg is a true smoker and takes quite a bit to get it going and keep it going (we live in a really windy location). The Memphis is a combination smoker, grill, and convection oven and we use that most often but if DH wants a true smoker experience such as brisket, he'll use the Green Egg.

Yes!!! We have a Traeger smoker, and it is AWESOME!!! Smoker
We are a family of 2, and have the smallest one. We can get up to 8-10 burgers on it, so it's pretty big. SO tasty!

Dh had a pressure cooker smoker and loves it. I'm just happy he cleans it when he cooks. It also cold smokes so you can make smoked cheese. It's really fast due to the pressure cooking too. You just have to use it outside or the house fills with smoke smell even if you take it outside to open it, so dh uses it on the front porch or in the driveway with an extension cord. I love traditionally smoked food but that takes all day, this thing can be done in less than an hour from start to finish.
