Good Friday morning ladies!! TGIF!!! I feel SO much better this morning. I was exhausted yesterday and felt off. My eating was junk and the scale reflected that this morning. But I'm back to my norm today! I am SO excited. For the first time ever, all 3 of my kids are spending the night with my MIL. She lives in a very small place and didn't have anywhere for them to sleep so they've never stayed over. She finally got some furniture a few weeks ago and the kids have been wanting to stay so they're going tonight. We haven't been in our house alone without the kids for more than a school day in like 3 years. DH and I are going to drop the kids off and then go out on a date! Whatever we do, when we eat it'll be something healthy!! I LOVE knowing that I can go out to eat and won't be tempted by the crap food anymore. I know I can control myself and eat something healthy but still enjoy myself. It's grocery shopping day. DH is home so we'll be doing grocery shopping as soon as the kids are at school. Then it's home to clean up and finish some laundry. Probably no workout again today but I'm for sure doing one tomorrow. I know Sunday is out because we have 3 indoor soccer games. These are the last games before playoffs next weekend so I definitely want to go and watch. I've missed several games this session due to sick kids. Everyone's now healthy so I'm looking forward to watching some soccer. I hope you ladies have a wonderful day!!

Oooh, a night without kiddos. I know for us they were rare too; still are. But they sure are nice too. Enjoy, Brandy!!!!!! Hubby is bringing home Olive Garden tonight. I will just order a side of soup for my dinner. BUT I will totally have a piece of Black Tie Mousse Cake. It's my favorite!!!! It's 38 WW points but I am going for it and counting it. I will only have 2 weekly remaining points after that which means I can have 31 points tomorrow and 31 on Sunday. Totally doable. We were gone all day yesterday but I still ate within my points. Thankfully we are home today. I have laundry, etc. Ick! Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! brandy327 - have a great date! That is very exciting, and heck - just knowing you don't have to cook dinner or do dishes is a treat Patter Mmmm, that cake sounds delicious. Enjoy! I should hit a big milestone at my WW meeting tomorrow morning. I know I advocate staying off the scale, but this week I haven't been able to help myself - I want to know if I'm going to make it! I should start my period next week, and for me, the scale tends to slow down the week or two prior to that, and then I get a "woosh" once it starts. So I've been seeing what's happening on the scale. It has been swinging up and down every day by 1.5 - 2.5 lbs, which is annoying, but hopefully it stays down for tomorrow. I am going to buy some new clothes this weekend. I honestly have a reallllly limited wardrobe that fits right now, and I'm getting a little sick of it. I don't want to go too crazy because I still have a long way to go, but I need to not feel like I'm wearing the same 3 t-shirts over and over. It is getting hot here too, so while I have plenty of denim/jeans, it is getting too hot for that. I'm going to try to do a capsule-style wardrobe and lay out what I already have that fits, take pictures, and make a very specific list of the items I want to get... probably a striped t-shirt, a floral short-sleeved shirt, a white blouse, a bright lightweight cardigan, 1 or 2 maxi dresses, some white capris or pants that aren't too heavy, and a work outfit. Going to Houston for a public-facing work event next week and I don't have a suit or even a blazer and top that fits nicely. There is a great consignment store in Dallas that carries sizes 12+, and then next to it there is another great resale shop that sells really quality items in sizes 0 - 22, so I can shop at both which is nice. I really prefer shopping at these stores for some reason - it kills me to pay "full price" for some of the low quality stuff in department stores, and when something is at a resale shop, you can usually tell pretty well how it holds up to washing. I also really like shopping organized by size - it makes me crazy at a department store when I see something I like and they don't have it in my size. These two stores make the shopping experience really great, so it feels like shopping in a boutique rather than a Goodwill (although I saw some SUPER nice stuff at Goodwill recently and need to go when I have a lot of patience to dig through). I thought about joining Gwynnie Bee while I'm still changing sizes, but it really is quite expensive for more than 3 items out at once and the waiting back and forth is annoying. I think I can spend around $200/size at the consignment shops and have enough to get me through if I'm careful about what I buy. Also getting my hair cut and my nails done this weekend, so basically a weekend of pampering

AN your weekend sounds amazing and WELL DESERVED! Enjoy We are basically stuck in the house this weekend because it is snowing, cold, and all kinds of windy. I refuse to participate in the weather when it snows in April, so I'm staying home!! Oh, and also because my husband was out of town all week and is tired of eating out and being on the run. Sometimes I want to get out when I've been holding down the house all week but because of the snow, I'm happy to stay home and nest.

LOL And I've busted my butt the last couple of days to get laundry all done and the house cleaned up so I don't have anything guilting me!! Ooooh - shopping!! I hope you can find everything you want/need at the consignment shops. We're hitting a thrift store in search of a dress for one of my dd's for a book report she has to do in character. Unfortunately, most of the consignment/thrift stores here do NOT offer much. And one is even in a really nice neighborhood but there's rarely anything I find for myself. Enjoy your weekend of pampering!

brandy327 enjoy your kid-free evening! AN shopping sounds like fun. Let us know about the milestone! Honestly, it's been a rough couple of days on a few fronts. Two positives though: 1. I picked up my latest bloodwork results from my cardiologist. I started seeing him just before I started CrossFit (4 years ago this week). I'm considered high risk because of family history and was having some problems so he put me on statins. About 9 months later I decided I wanted to manage things on my own and stay off heart meds. Since then he's agreed so long as my bloodwork numbers are good. This latest batch is the best yet, and considering I'm 4 years older the trend isn't supposed to be going that way. I feel pretty validated that what I am doing for diet and exercise is working and it's very motivating to stick with it. Woot! 2. DD and I had our annual Mother's Day pictures taken last night. So I missed the gym, but for a very, very good reason. We loved our photographer and our location was amazing. Can't wait to see the results-especially since there's about a 15 pound difference from last year's photos. Squats on squats on squats at the gym later. Excited to put in another cycle of strength work before summer. I'll never have cellulite-free legs, but at least they'll be strong cellulite-y ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

brandy327 enjoy your kid free night! Went to kickboxing again this morning. I am so incredibly sore, but I know that once I get back into my routine that will pass. Being away for almost 3 weeks, I cannot believe how much strength I have lost! I got my 3rd stitch fix box yesterday. Either I'm losing weight or they are sending me bigger clothes because everything fit and I'm keeping it all. Yay!

I am struggling to hit my steps today on my rest day. Boo. I hate that.
Tomorrow I would like to get in at least a 4 mile run, but we are forecasted to have rain, wind, and possible snow. We shall see.
I will be taking Dd to the mall, so that will be a good way to get some steps in.

Shopping success! I hit the 2 consignment stores and Target and got: - 2 pairs of white capris (one denim, one not) - Orange capris, don't quite fit yet but I really liked them and they will replace a pair of bright blue capris that will be too big in another 10 lbs. - Cute Kiyonna dress that could be casual or dressed up - Gray tshirt - Striped tshirt - Super cute teal dress from Target with crochet shoulders and a handkerchief hem - Lace/crochet white shirt - light pink blazer from Torrid - Brand new pair of Naturalizer sandals, paper still on the beading, $3! - New underwear, which was a trauma. I've been wearing LB boycut forever, but now I need to switch to "straight" sizes. Figuring out which style and fabric I'd like, I seriously spent 30 minutes in the section at Target and didn't feel confident in my choice.
I feel well equipped for summer now, plus a fresh pedicure! Not a bad day.

I am struggling to hit my steps today on my rest day. Boo. I hate that. Me too! Tomorrow is my rest day and I'm already stressing over it. I'm going to the running store and getting new running shoes - that's sorta exciting. I ran a 5K today just to see where I'm at with it. I did a run/walk and it took me 51 minutes but I ran half of it so I'm pleased with that. I figure every couple of weeks I can run it and see how I'm doing. We are doing a 5K in 2 weeks but it's Color Me Rad so we walk it.
