What do you use? I've been using angel eyes and it helps but does not eliminate her tear stains.

put a table spoon of powdered butter milk on the dog food or mix it with a alittle water and let them drink it. Pearl had bad tear stains and I tried every chemical out there that was made to remove tear stains but them someone told me about the butter milk and I started giving it to her. She doesn't like it on her food but she loves to drink it. We give it to her couple times a week mixed with just enough milk to make a thick mixture and she loves it. and this is how her eyes look

I tried everything for my tiny Papillon including the buttermilk. Nothing worked for us, so I gave up. He is 9 now, and we are just used to it.

This is what I would try:
1. Change to a non-grain dog food. You will also want to check to make sure it doesn't have beet additives. 2. Use a stainless steel water bowl. 3. Use filtered water. 4. I've heard Tums will change the Ph balance in a dogs body. A 1/2 Tums 2x's a day should fix that. If you don't feel comfortable with Tums a one (1) teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in their water will do the same thing.
If the suggestions above do not work it's time to visit the vet.

Tried Angel Eyes didn't work. We switched our dog to grain-free and the amount of tearing substantially decreased.
