I'd build a rink. An awesome rink. With two dedicated ringette ice surfaces, one without lines for figure skating, and one hockey ice; a lounge/pub upstairs with windows to see all the action; a library branch in the lobby; forced air heaters in bleachers; water bottle fountains on every bench; heated indoor parking for me (!); a decent concession where you could get a piece of fruit for less than $22!!; warm up space for teams; a parkade; an onsite massage therapist/maybe spa; TVs in the lobby with remotes that the moms could access so they wouldn't be stuck watching TSN; dressing rooms with enough space for 20 players AND equipment bags and showers with doors. Not that my DD and I have discussed this ad naseum on our long road trips!

I would:
Buy my parents a better house, buy my sister a house. Sell our house, buy a cruising sailboat and sail off for an around the world cruise for as long as we wish to go. Come back and buy two houses-one in Maine and one in St John USVI-summers in Maine, winters in St John. Do some more travelling around the world to places we couldn't reach by sailboat.
That's all I can think of right now.
Travel is what I crave the most. I have a strong desire to explore the rest of the world. There is so much to see!

I would build a women's shelter in each of the 50 states.
Or a pet shelter in each state.

Did you win the LottoMax??LOL! It was 50 million last night and DD told me one ticket won it all here in BC. Alas, I know it wasn't me because I didn't have a ticket. i thought this too when i saw thread title! i had tickets on saw on the news one winning pick in BC. sigh. as for me, i would probably do most of the stuff everyone else said, renovate my house, travel (a lot) with friends and family and take care of loved ones.

Pay off my kids' mortgages. And our line of credit. Set up a college fund for the grandkids to draw on. Reno this house: finish the basement including the therapeutic whirlpool tub with lift, and an elevator to get down to it and up afterwards. Don't need it now, but not getting any younger! Upgrade furnace, windows, appliances, anything else that needs an upgrade. Build a carriage house/ caretaker's house on our property. Set up a fund to pay said caretakers to do yard work/ house keeping, etc. and to pay for maintenance and upkeep costs of this property. Set aside enough money to ensure an income we can live on, travel a little bit, purchase vehicles when we need them, generally live without worry. Whatever is left, I would set up a charitable organization from which I would donate to help people meet the expenses they incur when they or someone in their family becomes ill.

House in Montana House on the coast Boat New car for me: 4runner New car for hubby: truck or challanger. Help several close friends. Travel Our charity would be home based: schools, soccer, animal shelter, leo, domestic violence & food bank. We would also sprinkle it as we traveled. How cool would it be to affect so many people all over.... Ohhh to dream. Our biggest thing would to be to buy some property in N.C and start a summer camp for first responders and their familes from June-August. 50$ a week per kid and then block off a week in July and August for LEO familes to come 100$. A place for them to. Ome and relax, something most don't have the chance to do and can't afford. The rest of the year it would be available for rentals to first responders and departments.

Teams in our area are at a big disadvantage competing against teams who play in one all winter long. I'd also like a helicopter and a plane. DH has the license, but has nothing to fly.
