Everyone here is always so good at helping fellow peas with their shopping, please ...I need help! I've started looking for shoes for my son's wedding (May 28th) and frankly this may be harder than finding a dress! I'm looking for silver sandals. Shouldn't be hard, huh? Well, I have a narrow foot which makes this more difficult. AND, I'm battling severe foot pain (probably plantar fasciitis but I'm too stubborn about going to the foot doctor ). I'd also prefer to not have to pay an arm and a leg for them. Suggestions for where to look? I've already looked at Dillard's where I bought my dress, and today was at DSW with no luck. Help me out or I swear I'm going to spray paint my Crocs silver! I guess I should also include that I hate shopping and I hate dressing up. ETA - I prefer flat but because of the foot pain I probably need some heel...but not much!

Have you checked Zappos.com? You can get pretty specific with your search parameters -- I bet you'll probably find something there!

thanks brandy327 I really like the last one but it says it's a medium width which won't stay on my foot. I think I'll go to Macy's this week and see if they have any narrow widths in the store. Thanks for the suggestions!

Your dress is beautiful! I understand your frustration with shoe shopping! I also hate to shop and have narrow feet. I wore VanEli brand sandals very similar to these to my DDs wedding and they were comfortable. That said, I don't have foot pain, just a hatred of high heels. Nordstrom has these which are also cute and available in narrow.

Definitely try Zappos and DSW.com as they carry more styles then you will sometimes find in the stores.

I bought these shoes from Amazon.com to wear to an event last summer where I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking. The heel height is about 1 3/4 inches. They were very comfortable and very stylish. Edited to add: I have very wide feet and these are available in regular width and wide. I don't see them on Zappos in a narrow width.

gorgeous dress - I feel your pain with shoe shoppping as I wear a 9.5 or 10 NARROW and need arch support and no heels (bad knees/hips)

You probably should go ahead and see a podiatrist to try to get some relief. Likely you will be going to more than one event for this wedding and fancy shoes and foot problems don't go together. They can tape your foot. While that didn't work for me at all, it helped my mother greatly when she had an acute case of plantar fascitis. They can give you exercises too do and anti-inflammatory medication. You want to enjoy this day and the events leading up to it as much as possible, not worry about your foot pain.

I like these. They sort of mirror the crystals on your dress. The description says 2 3/4 inch heel but it doesn't look like it though. They come in narrow sizes.
