Didn't see it, don't know the song, but that kid's gonna win like Susan Boyle. Dang!

Wow! I usually roll my eyes at the "baby singers" who try to sound grown-up, but this girl has a certain sparkle - it's more than party tricks!

She had a lot of interpretation and great enunciation. It was more than perfect notes ... go, child, go!

Amazing wasn't she.
Did anyone clock Madam Zuchinni? My husband has met her. She is exactly the same when she is being herself. I can't think that she has done her children's party business any favours!

Beyond her performance, I loved the smile on her face the exact moment when she finished the song. No matter what else happened, she was pleased and proud of herself in that moment, and I loved to see that.

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize they'd fired back up yet. If that's the caliber of talent this season, it should be fun to watch.

Wow! Her voice was beyond mature and her interpretation was wonderful. Another one I can't wait to see when she is an adult.

Once she started singing she seemed like a totally different person! Self assured and confident.
The press here are whinging that she shouldn't be in the competition because she has been at stage school for a number of years. That doesn't bother me. I don't see there is much difference in that and someone who has practised their craft for years to improve and perfect it. Real talent will always out!

The press here are whinging that she shouldn't be in the competition because she has been at stage school for a number of years. That doesn't bother me. I don't see there is much difference in that and someone who has practised their craft for years to improve and perfect it. Real talent will always out! I think that is probably why there is so much press about her though Gilly. She's a seasoned pro at entering talent contests so for her mother to say " it's a big deal for her to get on stage and sing" is somehow pushing the reality a bit. It's the fact that they've introduced her as being this shy, innocent 12 year old who naturally has this amazing voice when the reality is somewhat different, she's actually quite confident and self assured and used to performing in a number of talent competitions in the past. That doesn't take away her talent though but it does " colour" the truth about how they portrayed her to be. She was amazing but I do have reservations that she/they are pushing her body at too young an age. Her lungs, her vocal cords and all the other muscles used in singing are not developed enough at her age to sing songs that are vocally " too big" for her. She'll damage her voice permanently if she's not correctly managed.
