Does anyone techie or in education have any good ideas for hi-tech assessment/evaluation? The technology type, grade level, or topic doesn't matter. I would love to see a website or even just hear of an idea that you have used (or even just heard of). Any and all suggestions are appreciated. I am working on a project and could use some fresh ideas. Thank you!

Canvas D2L Socrative Zipgrade Not exactly sure what you're looking for, so it's hard to say. Some of these are online classroom platforms, some are for testing and some are for polling/exit slip type activities.

Another vote for Kahoot here - my high school students love it. Study Island is a great site, and so is Membean. (Both of those are fee-based services though.)

I do about 60% of assessments and assignments online.
I use Schoology, our LMS, for the majority. I use discussions, quizzes, assignments and rubrics through there.
I also use Kahoot a lot for review and formative assessment, and I like Nearpod. Nearpod is really cool for formative assessment and intro to topics.

If you are looking for non-traditional assessments, I use online portfolios, blogs, book trailers, and infographic creation as well.
Among other things.
