Hi Everyone,
This will seem a bit weird for me, but please bear with me. I want to get a book for goal setting. I have a planner I can use and I think it will be perfect. The issue I have is setting goals. I am a pretty goal motivated kind of person. I like to achieve things and sometimes the process is enjoyable and other times it makes me bang my head.
Well I got the idea in my head I want to set a couple of goals. One will be long term and the other short term.
One goal is to lose weight and get better physically. (Most of us have that goal I am sure). I am exercising on a regular basis now so that is off to a decent start. The food thing I will worry about in a week or two. For now I just want to exercise and eat what I want.
The other is to find another job maybe. I enjoy my work most of the time, but I don't get enough hours anymore as I had to go on leave after I broke my arm a year ago. They gave my job to someone else so now I just work one day a week. I love, love, love my coworkers. We do stuff together all the time. Well I want to do something a little more challenging now that I have some more time on my hands. I want to keep the job I have, but do something else, too. I don't want anything taxing mentally (it might be good for my brain but not so much for my mental health), but I do want fun. I was thinking maybe working at a jewellery store? There are a couple of ladies' wear stores I could apply to and leave my job, but I like the people I work with an awful lot. Working at the store I am at was a bucket list thing for me from years ago.
Does anyone have any thoughts? I am open to suggestions and won't poo poo anything as I am looking for feedback.
