One of my favorite type movies.... any suggestions...like love stories.. not futuristic kind or something like Hot Tub Machine....
I have seen these:
Somewhere in Time Kate and Leoplod Time Traveler's Wife The Lake House The Age of Adaline 11-22-63 Peggy Sue got Married Forever Young Frequency (LOVE this one.. I can't believe I forgot it) Bill and Ted.. 13 Going on 30 Once Upon a Time Back to the Future
I think I am missing some... but looking for something I might have missed... Frequency is the one I know I couldn't put my finger on.
EDITED: Watched Timeline with Paul Walker and Gerard Butler... it was good... and on Netflix.... thanks for the suggestion!!

11-22-63 just aired on Hulu as an 8-part mini-series. It's about the JFK assassination and I greatly enjoyed it.

I just recently went on a binge of time travel movies. I watched:
Project Almanac Timelapse Primer I'll Follow You Down.
I'll Follow You Down was good but not great, but the other 3 are really good.

I've seen all of the movies the OP listed except for "Age of Adaline" which I'm waiting to come to cable so I don't have to pay for it. Time Travel is one my my very favorite subjects. I love mostly reading about it, and after that movies about it. I wish they could make movies out of some of Connie Willis's novels-she writes about time travel better than anyone else I've read. I've started a thread about time travel books if you're interested. When I was reading "The Time Traveler's Wife" I actually cried while reading it. I thought they did an excellent job with the film, but like most cases I thought the book was better than the movie. I can't think of any you are missing Workingclassdog, but I will ask my DS tomorrow. He has a degree in film and can probably come up with something hopefully. He is like a walking encyclopedia when it comes to movies. Now saying that I hope he can deliver something Debbie in MD.

Peggy Sue Got Married (It was just on tv yesterday)
Time Bandits.
Edge of Tomorrow
Deja Vu
The Philadelphia Experiment - the original; from 1984
Forever Young (not really time travel - man volunteers for cryogenics experiment and wakes up 50 years in the future)

Grand Tour: Disaster in Time with Jeff Daniels from the 80s. Time travellers that tour disasters throughout history. Interesting concept.
Time after Time with Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. HG Wells chases Jack the Ripper across time.
Both really good movies.

Not a movie, but there was a tv show in the late 90's called Sliders. It was on fr several seasons. My Dh and I used to like that. Not sure where you'd be able to stream it.
Mentioned above, but I loved About Time.

Time Line with Gerard Butler. Possession with Aaron Eckhart and Gwyneth Paltrow is about a mystery from the past--don't know if that qualifies.

Love time after time one of my all time favorites. That title sounds weird to me, but it has the people listed above and about Jack the ripper (sort of, chasing him anyway)

Okay, there's one I watched recently and it was just okay, not great but I can't remember the title or who was in it and it's driving me crazy.
It begins by being in the near future and Time Travel is now and option and you can sign up to go on these hunting safaris to go in the past and hunt dinosaurs but you can't step off this specific path that looks one of those moving pathways you see in airports nowadays-you know the ones I mean. A group of hunters are shooting at a dinosaur and someone one of them steps on butterfly and brings it back through the Time Machine (big no-no) and all of a sudden you're in the future of what this means as everything has changed because of this one change.
All of what we know has changed. Our cities have fallen into ruin and the animals have mutated into these vicious beings that chase people and hunt them down. It's not like lions and tigers chasing people because they've mutated into such gross, nasty looking things that are much bigger and more dangerous.
Does anyone know what I am talking about? I remember the buildings in the city being covered with plants and vines, just being completely taken over by plant life. That's all I can remember.
Debbie in MD.

Not necessarily time travel but the concept of split realities--Sliding Doors. One of my favorites.

I know scrapsotime already added Peggy Sue Got Married, but I have to second it. I also really liked About Time about a family of time travelers. Does Groundhog Day make the cut? Timecop is the worst time travel movie ever made and DH lost his movie picking rights over it about 20 years ago.

I can't use the quote feature on my phonetbut this is the one I immediately thought of:
"Time after Time with Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. HG Wells chases Jack the Ripper across time."
I LOVE this movie and just recently re-watched it with my dd. It's suspenseful and has the most adorable love story in it. Mary and Malcolm fell in love IRL while making it. Stayed married for 10 years. The movie is circa 1980. A must watch!

safety not guaranteed A few rookie reporters go to cover what seems to be a crazy guy who put an add in the paper about time travel. One female reporter is drawn to him despite his odd story and there's a lovely scene where he plays her a song on a dulcimer or a zither or something, called big machine. I liked the song so much I bought it, which is kind of rare for me to put out that much effort to track something that obscure down

"Frequency" is one of my favourite movies - I can't remember much about it (sorry), cause I haven't seen it for years, but I loved it! It's from about 2000 or 2001, and involves a murder mystery and a father/son relationship. Ummmm, I wanna say Dennis Quaid... maybe. :-)
