Hi I went for Indian food with some co-workers years and years ago and I ate this chicken dish and it was amazing. This is long before cell phones and ways to identify food. I remember it was Indian food, it was chicken in some sort of amazing sauce. They made it zero spicy the way I like it and the sauce was kind of creamy, maybe a curry but I am not sure, and it wasn't spicy or salty or anything other than amazing. The chicken was melt in your mouth delicious and it came with naan and rice. I wish I could be more specific than that.
It wasn't butter chicken because that tastes differently. I like it a lot, but this wasn't the same thing. This was amazing.
Is anyone familiar with Indian food enough to know what this is called.
I did call the co-worker years ago that I went with and asked him and he said "How do you expect an old bugger like me to remember?" I love Tony but he has no idea either.
Can anyone please help?

I'd guess the same thing but obviously all tikka masalas are not necessarily as good as your memory!!

Not spicy I would say korma, it's usually more of a yellow then orange or red.

It wasn't chicken tikka masala as it wasn't red in colour. CTM looks amazing, though, and I will be trying it! It must have been chicken korma. I found some photos and they all have drumsticks in it and this was just thigh meat. The photos do look quite amazing and I will be having that again. Soon!
Thank you!

My guess would be Korma too, it's not spicy.
I've never had korma with drumsticks, only thigh or breast pieces. actually, I usually have lamb korma rather than chicken.

I agree with Chicken Korma. Sooooo good!!! We always order korma and chicken makhani from our favorite Indian place and then split them. The two best dishes!!

It definitely wasn't vindaloo! Geez, even the mild is spicy. We ate Indian on Sunday night and both got lamb vindaloo. SO was texting me the next day calling it "vindictive vindaloo" and "vindaburn." LOL!

It sounds a lot like a Korma to me.
