Heading out of town tomorrow and looking for a book to read on the plane. This book is #17 on NYTimes Bestsellers list. Curious to hear your opinions...thanks!

It looks interesting to me, but I haven't read it yet. I have it on hold at the library, waiting my turn

I read it and gave it three stars on Goodreads. This is what I wrote:
I didn't think The Widow lived up to advanced billing. It was a quick read and I liked it fine, but didn't find it did anything new or original with the suspense genre. Serviceable, but not a must read.
--------
These are suspense books I liked a lot better:
Broken Harbor by Tana French The Last Child or Iron House by John Hart The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson Harry Hole series by Jo Nesbo
ETA: I haven't read this new release yet (it is waiting on my Kindle), but I've read good reviews of it. People I know who've read both this book and The Widow liked this one much better.
What She Knew by Gilly Macmillan
