DH makes the best burgers with ground beef, ground lamb, pureed onions & green pepper, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce and feta cheese. I'm sure I'm missing something on the ingredient list, but they are so good served with grilled onions and fresh tomatoes.

I mix A-1 steak sauce in with my ground meat when making up burgers. So good!
For toppings, I love carmelized onions, pepper jack cheese, bacon and more steak sauce!

My absolute favorite place to have a hamburger is in the Palm Springs area near my parents. I'm linking the menu because I seriously drool over each of the burgers. My favorite is the Parisian burger with Bousin cheese, carmelized onions, bacon and garlic aioli. So good! Probably a good thing I don't live closer. Grill-a-burger

DH likes all kinds of stuff on his. I'm boring and like mine plain with maybe ketchup and pickles. Half the time I can't even be bothered to throw on a slice of cheese. I'm not a big red meat eater though, so there's that.
When we moved into this house, we got a natural gas grill and hooked it up to the house so we grill year round even in the wintertime.

I had a burger that put sour cream, Pico de Gallo, and the usual toppings. It was actually very good. Oliver burgers are my favorite. I had one where the green olives were mixed with a cream cheese and smoked Gouda blend and a slice of Swiss cheese. That was the best olive burger I've ever had. At home, I put salsa on my burger, but it has to be the fresh salsa I make. And pepper jack cheese. Wow - an Oliver burger sounds DELISH! I love any & all olives! And burgers... And gouda... really, I never met a cheese I didn't like. I need to try to reproduce that!

I like home made Thai chicken burgers. If I have to have a plain old beef burger I have egg, bacon, cheese, tomato, onion and beetroot on it. Sometimes pineapple too. Otherwise known as HBL - hamburger with the lot. It seems that having beetroot and pineapple on burgers is an Australian thing. Lamb burgers topped with brie, sautéed mushrooms, and balsamic onions, served in a lettuce wrap. I buy, I don't make. This sounds like my kind of burger!

We also do the Beetroot on burgers in New Zealand, but pineapple not so much. Thai chicken burgers

The most boring pea of all time likes KETCHUP. I know it's crazy. If I could find this one Thousand Island sauce I had on a burger once I would like that, too. I don't like lettuce, tomato, mustard, relish, fried onions I prefer on the side but will eat them. I do like cheese slices though. The Cracker Barrel marble cheddar thin slices. 3 of them.

Burgers must be homemade for me and I like to have really browned onions, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sliced Beetroot. I also love to add a fried egg. That would be what we'd call an Aussie burger Another favourite is grilled chicken breast, crisp bacon, cheese, lettuce and creamy mayo.

I don't make them at home but if I get a craving for a burger it usually has to have blue cheese and bacon on it!

My favorite burger is called a "Beast Burger" made by a company called Beyond Meat. It's a plant protein burger that tastes exactly like meat but isn't. I make that by sauteing it in a tiny bit of olive oil and then putting it on a whole wheat bun topped with a vine ripened tomato, slivers of a sweet onion and romaine lettuce. A wee bit of ketchup and mustard top it off and I'm ready to bite into the best burger I've ever tasted. Yum! I'm getting hungry. Off to make myself one.
Debbie in MD.
BTW, if any of you are interested in trying these out you can buy them now at Target.
