Today I came home and saw a package on my step from 2 kind 2peas members- elaine and J u l e eit was an instant pot pressure cooker, and as I stood in my kitchen and literally cried because I was overwhelmed by how kind it was and how these 2 kind souls who have never even met me or us went out of their way to do something because they are nice. It really is amazing. When my husband came home he asked where I got it and I explained who it was from and he was speechless for a while. On a funny note he just came in to the room I am in and said, "I keep thinking it's like a slow cooker but it's the OPPOSITE-it does so much!" and walked back out to check it out a little bit more. He loves to cook and kitchen items so I know we will both have fun with it. Also jenjie who sent something quite generous to help us out. She and her family have lost so much with the passing of her husband Fred, but yet I have seen her share her thoughtfulness and kindness over and over. She is a true example of grace. Thank you to all of you who have been supportive and kind as we move forward. This place really is pretty amazing! |
