Hate to ask over and over...but if it's been in your system for 7 days and your still in a good amount of discomfort and pain...would you say it isn't working? Would you call or wait it out some more? Just cranky I guess....

I just got a cortisone shot in my foot. It took about 3 days to start to take effect, but definitely by 7 days I was feeling better. I don't know how that compares to others - but I guess it depends on what you are getting the shot for. (What is yours for?) I'm sorry you are still in pain.

I know with DH's lower back, he gets some relief from the first shot within a week, but not total. It takes the 2nd shot to really knock it out. But then the side effects kick in and he hates those more than the pain, so

They said bursitis in my shoulder. But I have a ton of scar tissue that was hard to get through. I'm thinking it may come to having the scar tissue removed...had 2 surgeries on it 5 years ago. At this point I will probably get an mri before a second injection to be sure I know what I'm dealing with
