ok do I need this? I always bake things like chicken patties, fries, corn dogs, etc. Would this make those all better somehow? Is it easy to clean?
Is this the best brand to get? I see a few at around the same price on amazon.

I see a few at around the same price on amazon. I think that Philips is probably the best brand to get, but it is also around $200. And I would want the Philips XL which is closer to $350, I think. They are incredibly easy to clean - at least the QVC one, because I have it - the parts just go in the dishwasher. It would be perfect for the things you are interested in baking! It really excels at reheating/baking frozen foods. It is also great at fresh roasted veggies and fries. Now, whether you "need" it or not is up to you. I hate turning on the oven in the summer, so it will definitely continue to get use!

The only thing slowing me down is the warranty. Only 60 days? Is that typical?
