For me, it's paper doilies!
I have over ten packs of them. Probably closer to twenty.
Plain white ones. Silver. Gold. Christmas red and greens. Valentine's. Heart, circles. Big & small.
I do use them. The problem comes when there is between twenty and forty in a pack, and I use two.
What do you have a ridiculous amount of?

Project Life cards. I could do an album every year for the rest of my life and not run out of cards. Does that stop me from buying more? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Lots of things but the #1 are butterflies- butterfly stickers, embellishments, paper, rubber stamps, dies, on and on and on. I really have a problem. I really hope nobody goes in my art room that has a butterfly fear. I even have a butterfly wind chime in my art room.

Paper, but I love my paper so it's good.
I have a lot of random embellishments from kit clubs - die cuts, wood shapes, enamel dots. I don't use these as much. I especially don't use the wood. Probably should do a wood RAK soon!

Thickers! I have them coming out the wazoo! I get then in kits, I get them at TM, I get then when shopping online! But in all fairness I do use them on every layout. Now if only I could find the time to actually scrapbook and use them....

I am actually re-vamping my craft room.
I am going through every single thing in there….touching everything to see if I need it or want it.
I have a huge pile of scrapbooking papers from 15+ years ago that I donated.
I am also doing videos on my process….hoping to be completed by year end, lol.

Cardstock. Back when I needed every color possible and most layouts were made with mostly cardstock. I've purged a few times but not enough.

Nonspecific patterned paper - like stripes, plaids, dots, florals etc. Being a theme scrapper I don't go to these very often and I have stacks and stacks and stacks.

The only thing I over do it on with Christmas is wrapping paper, bags and boxes and usually I stock up after Christmas. I only like the good stuff (foiled/holographic, whatever you call it), lol. I have 3 dedicated containers overflowing with wrap (I had gotten it to fit within easily but got a lot after Christmas last year at Walmart because they just had so much left) and 4 containers of bows, plus another bin where my tissue, boxes and bags go (I buy lots of white tissue because it works year round). 2 of the wrap containers and all of the bow containers are red and green Sterilite ones meant for what I keep in them. I could probably not buy anything new for a few years and not need to replenish anything but bags (those are hard to find in after Christmas sales, they sell out so fast), but I like options and it's nice to know that if I wanted to (and usually this is what happens) I can wrap everything under the tree in something different. The only repeated ones end up being things my husband wraps because he's not crazy like I am. |
