Welcome to May.
Use the below list to inspire your project. You can use one, some or all the prompts on the list. Substitutions are welcome and encouraged.
• Specialty paper (eg vellum, transparency, foiled, glitter, flocked) • your handwriting • stamping • labels/tabs • something from your most recent purchase • something with text
All types of projects count (paper, digi, hybrid, PL, art journaling, anything else you create) and if you share your projects online please link them here so we can admire and leave some love. You can find instructions to post in the Refupeas gallery in this thread but shout out if you need help.
I hope you find time to play along and I can't wait to see what everyone creates.

I really love this combination now that I have started to hand write on my pages. has anyone ever tried stamping on vellum? I am thinking I want some vellum embelishments but don't want to buy them I have a few stamps that I would like to try. If you have I would love any tips - wondering if regular ink will dry properly or if I need stazon.

Scrapper100 - probably stazon (although I haven't used it so just guessing) or maybe go old school with heat embossing?

I was afraid that would curl the paper - I want to use grey so I may try that after all since I don't have grey stazon but have pigment ink. It would look good embossed to. I may have to try that.

If you have I would love any tips - wondering if regular ink will dry properly or if I need stazon. I've used Brilliance ink and also Versamark/embossing powder. You just have to heat the vellum from both sides to stop it curling too much.

Also keep the heat gun further away.

Scrapper100 , way to throw one more monkey wrench into the challenge! I believe you can actually use embossing powder with ANY ink and then heat it to make it pop. Because the ink doesn't sink in as much to the vellum, it stays wet long enough to get the powder to stick. Calls for a steady hand, and lifting the stamp straight up so as not to smudge the ink.

Did this one today. It has some MME vellum, some Jillibean Soup pp with script, both of which are from my most recent purchase. Also has my own handwriting. And a label or tab shape for the title. (and managed to use up a tiny bit of my Christmas stash, which was my RIDICULOUS challenge!) Could have stamped on it--even contemplated it for awhile--but then dropped that idea... farm work & play 1 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

This was a great challenge. I used some really, really old coral colored vellum for the die cut letters and photo mat. I didn't even remember I had colored vellum! From a recent, although not quite most recent, purchase was the BG Olivia paper. I purchased that when BG announced they were no longer producing scrapbook paper. mikklynn , great layout. I'll leave love next week. Trying to get my scrap on today and we're out tomorrow. Here's mine. The paper was my most recent purchase. I went to a town 20 minutes away to pick up a few groceries without going to "REAL" town. They had these 2 sheets of crate paper in their scrapbook section (they have an ACE hardware and grocery combined). WonderSprinkledw by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr

LisaDV I love your layout. I would have never figured out how to use that bold chevron paper. Your use of the vellum made the photo stand out. And I love the embellishment cluster at the lower left.

ExpatBackHome Great layouts! I love how you layered the patterned vellum. And, of course, your little guy is adorable.
