I thought the images stayed on Pinterest, just the link to them dies?

Yes, the smaller pinned image should still be there but if you want to open it to look at details, etc. the link will be dead.

I spent the better part of this evening doing just that! Also went through my 2peas bookmarks-I had LOTS of things saved over 12 years. My goodness, it was a great resource. The gallery is still functional (but you can't upload)if anyone wants to search and save until the place closes. Sad to see my own little gallery go away.  |

About 50% of my 2 peas pins are large images so those should be fine. But the other 50% are just small thumbnails. Unfortunately, the links from the earliest days when they first made their images pinnable do not work for me anymore so I'm stuck with the thumbnails.

Are we sure that the images will still be on Pinterest when 2Peas is gone? I ask because I never click the link to the actual layout - I just want to be inspired by a collection of images. So I'm thinking about pinning my own layouts I have on Two Peas now but I don't want to do all that work and then nothing show up on Pinterest when Two Peas server goes down!

From past experience with dead links, you will be able to click on the small pic to open the larger window.
It's the click on the larger pic or the link itself that will get you nowhere.

There is no rhyme or reason to it. So if you think you want the larger image, double check your Two Peas pins to make sure they are full size.

I spent hours last night pinning some of my favorite bookmarks. When I click on my unfiled ones I get "permanently moved", so I'm having to go back thru the gallery. I also pinned my own layouts into a secret board...well, I'm in the process. I didn't want people following me to have to wade through thousands of layouts. As long as I have the picture, I'm fine.
I wish we'd had a little more notice and a chance to get all our bookmarks.

I just finished pinning my favorite layouts in a private board, as well. I'm not pinning my own layouts. I went through and read comments I received. I might take a screen shot of my most liked/bookmarked layouts. That will make a good layout in itself! My own little 2peas history!
Next up, I need to make sure all my cut files are downloaded.

I just saved a bunch of my bookmarked LOs to my computer. It was fun going through them all, and amazingly, I still love almost everything I saved even from waaay back. But, it's taking me forever to save them
