And when is it Scrap O'clock?
i am at my most creative and most positive in the morning. And that's when I have the most energy. By mid afternoon I feel a crash coming on. By evening I am doubting everything I do.
So so if I can scrap first thing in the morning that is my preference. Most crops stay open really late, and then don't open the doors until around nine. If they could let me in at 7 I would be much happier.
What at about you? When are you happiest and most productive? When does this feel most like PLAY?
and as a scrapping challenge: how about something with clocks on it?

I am a middle of the night scrapper. I think that I stop overthinking when I am tired. Things just flow together easier for me.

I'm more of a midday through to evening scrapper. My mornings are best spent ticking things off my to do list that let me play guilt free for the rest of the day. I love nothing more than a pile of inspiring supplies, some podcasts or movies playing in the background, and an uninterrupted afternoon of scrapping.

When are you happiest and most productive? When does this feel most like PLAY? If I could pick any time of day to scrapbook, it would be around 6 am, after a solid night's sleep. I love waking up, drinking coffee, and scrapping by the bright first light of the day. This never, ever happens. Maybe once in the past ten years. And as for the clocks? I have clocks stamps that I love to stamp onto paper, paper punch out, and use as embellishments. I also have a nearly 12x12 round clock (that was sold in the patterned paper aisle at M's) that I really want to use, but haven't found quite the right layout for yet.

I am definitely a morning person, but I find myself scrapping in the late afternoons/evenings. But that's because I start work at 7 M-F. May get some morning scrapping done when I am off for the summer. Well, if I can tear myself away from my early morning internet perusal....
Don't have any clock stuff....hmmmm...a stamp or stickers would be good! Wonder if there is clock washi???

also a morning person...just love scrapping in my pj's with a couple of mugs of hot Earl Grey teas to fuel me.
as mentioned, I start running out of gas by mid-late afternoon...and when the sun goes down, well, I am a bit worthless. LUCKY to get anything matted and on a page.

I scrap up a storm from 10 AM - 2 PM. Then I need to get up/ get out. Then I'm good from about 4PM -8 PM. I guess I'm not really an early bird or a night owl.

I don't have anything with clocks on it, but I was thinking a daily schedule with the times when certain things get done, kids bedtime, or the time of a special event like a birth could be interesting.
I'm at my best in the late morning. 10-1 are my golden hours. I'm a slug in the morning and in the evening. Unfortunately, I'm working during those hours. I miss being at home getting my workout in, getting chores and errands done, and having a bit of time to do something crafty. I'll be back to that schedule at the end of summer, though.

when I scrap it takes me a long time to get into the flow... that's why I don't usually scrap at home during the week. So I'm usually a late-afternoon --> evening scrapper. The weekend retreats that I go to are ones where the room is open 24-hours: I was the last person leaving the conference room and that was 2 am one night, and 2:30 the next night! I was sort of still working, just very slowly. If I realize I'm just shuffling papers back and forth and not really doing anything with them, that's my cue to call it a night. Like someone else said; later at night I typically don't overthink my choices and decisions-- I just decide, stick things down, and call it good.
(of course, everything looks somewhat crooked the next day, lol, but that I can deal with!)
ETA: the 12-hour crops I go to get over at 10 pm. 6-8 pm is when I finally start feeling like I'm getting on a roll, which doesn't give me much time to get anything done, considering I need to start packing my stuff up at about 9:30 pm.

I am not a morning person, so morning scrapping is not my thing. And my work schedule means that my scrappy time is 6:00 PM or later.

Look at the paper I found to use on my LOAD page. My title comes from something grammadee says.

I'm not a morning person. But this year DS is in a preschool program a few days a week in the mornings. He has to be there at 8:30 so I get home around 8:50. At least one morning a week I try to scrap. So that has been interesting for me! By that point I've showered and gotten ready, had coffee, etc. when I drop him, so I am truly ready to get down to it. I do really love it and am pretty productive, but it's not my preferred timeframe. I do have to set an alarm on my phone because sometimes I'm so into scrapping I don't pay attention to the time to come get him (never forgotten or been late though). But usually I'm an evening scrapper. After dinner and until 10-12 pm would be ideal. Unfortunately usually I'm to tired for that since I get up at the crack of dawn with my kid. Whenever I go to weekend crops I like to use the morning time to sleep in and then I crop until midnight when they close.

Any time that I can and have the mojo to do so, is the right time. We don't do schedules very well at my house. I try but can never seem to make them stick. Come to think of it, that would be a great thing to document about time.

Thank you! I just snap them with my phone in the album so quality is crap but I'm just trying to participate, lol! That New Years' page was a perfect place to use a clock! And your photos, title and journaling says it all. Love that you are playing along!
