So scrappy friends how was your day?
I started by going to my LSS--I bought 2 new stamps and glossy accents. I hit my art store got 2 paint brushes Michaels with a 50% off coupon and bought another dylusions journal
Came home and made 2 mothers day cards (identical). Sunday since DH was working again I made another card Birthday card. It took a long time, there was a lot of inlaying to be done.
Overall I had a great weekend.
Tonite I have to make another card for this coming Sunday. Its a lego card so I want to start on it.

I scrapped on Saturday, but only got a two pager done. Started another one last night and am hoping to finish it later today. I tried not to shop, but I did get a few kits for a great deal during Scrapbook Generation's NSD sale I wish I had been more productive, but I'm a slow scrapper and it's even harder when I'm interrupted a lot from the family. DS REALLY didn't want me to be in my scrap room

Saturday was my daughter's birthday so I had a lot going on but managed to eke out 3 layouts. Sunday I scrapped most of the day and got 7 layouts done. I also ordered the rest of the 2016 photos (up to May 6th) - they should come in the mail Thursday. Oh and I went to Michaels because I needed photo squares and beige cardstock and picked up a couple of sheets of PP and some snowflakes brads as well.
Over all - a good weekend

Busy, each day had a tight schedule, but...
Did squeeze in 3 hours (from 6am to 9am) on Sat morning, put layouts in dgd#1's book and embellished those that needed it.
Sunday, a little less time ...did make a couple of cards in the morning. After church, dgd#1 came over and I worked on a couple of layouts while she watched a movie. Did start putting dgd#2's layouts into her book...but not as much as I had hoped.
This weekend I am hosting a crop, hopefully will get more done.

Mine was a bust. I made one whole layout. On the plus side, I did completely unpack my things from my retreat of the prior week, put away some things that I won on instagram and tied up some of my stash that got a little messy from me going through it all the time.

We were so busy on Saturday that I didn't even get to Michaels to use my 50% off coupon. To make up for it, yesterday my SO helped me move some things around in storage (it's his family's storage area) and I found some of my scrap supplies that were tucked away in mis-labelled boxes! I don't have space to bring back much, but it was nice to grab a few things - like ATG refills and my favorite 6x6 pads. Now maybe I can actually scrap something.

But you still made a layout so wasn't a full bust

Saturday I was out of the house 10a-4p with friends for lunch and movie. Scrapped some before. Scrapped most of Sunday. Watched a lot of scrappy videos, watched some of Inky Quill's live stream and a few episodes of Turn. Printed photos and planned my Weeks 15-18 PL and completed W15.

I finished the three layouts that have been in various stages of completion on my desk for the last week. One of them turned out much better than I expected which is always a nice bonus. And I made a little purchase that shipped out to me today.

Mine was a bust. I left in the middle of the day, came home and helped my husband with chores most of the rest of the day. Boooo!

No scrapping, but I knew that I was at a dog show all weekend. I would have liked to have internet in our RV, but we didn't have that either.

Not as productive as I would have liked, but I did get to scrap all day, so that's never a bad thing.
And one of my scrappy pals called on a whim just to say hi and when she asked what I was up to and I told her it's NSD, so I'm scrappin', she threw some stuff in her car and came over to scrap for a few hours. A lovely, unexpected bonus!
Completed one layout (I'm a slloooooww scrapper) and began another, but got all inside my head (is this the right paper? should I use these stickers?) and gave up around 9PM.

I hate when that happens: time, space, opportunity--even a scrappy pal to play with--and the creative juices kind of freeze. I think that happens when I am stuck in my left brain, the analytical side.
Sometimes I wish I had a switch on my brain, like a railway switch, so I could turn off the left brain track when I want to be creative and just enjoy without doubt. Then when I really NEED to get something DONE, I could switch back to the left brain and just be efficient.
