I walked in, thinking I would treat myself to a package of embellishments and lo and behold there was an end cap filled with DCWV paper pads and some wrmk tools.
The had 65-lb, 48 count pads, the Nantucket, Once upon a Time (it had a cover I had never seen before, but it was the same design on thick 65 weight paper), Teenage Dream stack, the Old World Stack (textured), Tattered Time, Neon Chic something and Autumn Splender.
There were also a few of the larger 180 count thinner paper pads from dcwv. All Moments, Sweet Pea and Wild Bloom.
They had 2 specialty stacks cork sheets 12 count and the 36 count of white board sheets. Ok, lets, stop, here for a moment.... What in the world does one do with 36 12x12 sheets of whiteboard? I am clueless, teach me....
Oh! All of the above were the 12x12 size and marked 4.99.
The wrmk tools were the trim and score board, a trimmer with combo pack of rotary blades that all cut a different pattern, a fancy, smancy corner rounder (9.99-stub/deco design-1683802) and one lone crop a dile (14.99-1680241 or 1580241 the number is smugged)

I wish there was a TM closer to me! I'm usually not into DCWV but I recently saw a nautical theme paper pad that I loved. I wondered if I needed that much of that theme. Maybe not but I still want it.

The whiteboard is probably a home decor product. Vinyl, whiteboard, etc are great for shadow boxes, regular picture frames and gallery walls. If it's the same thickness as cardstock, you can cut it in a cameo, cricut, etc and make pretty wall pieces that can be drawn on seasonally and changed up whenever you want.
Many scrapbook companies (MME is a fine example of this even though I don't really care for any of it) are branching into the home decor market on top of papercrafting. The word on the street is that many of these companies are doing this to stay afloat because of how much the scrappy industry keeps shrinking. I would wager that it's the same reason many other companies (Simple Stories and Webster's Pages) are venturing heavily into the planner world.

Nice! I might hit up my store later this week to check out what's new.

The Once Upon A Time pack has a few different papers from the original pack. I used the original papers for a bulletin board for several years. I was almost tempted to buy the updated pack because I love the old and new papers in it. I need to go back for the Nantucket line. We spend a lot of time at the lake.

I got several Studio Calico items over the weekend. One is vellum die cuts with anchors and arrows, geotags, maps and banners. The other is a black and white ephemera pack with labels and tags. Heart Stickers and the camera stickers. I have to say I like finding Studio Calico for $1.49.

I was shocked to find one lone pack of canvas tags from the Cedar Lane collection. I was hoping to find more! I got some enamel dots and starts from 7 Paper (same as studio calico). I got some 7 Gypsies alpha stickers for .49.

Has anyone seen the yellow-handle WRMK corner rounder? (just regular round corners, but yellow handle) I'm kicking myself for being indecisive and not buying it when I saw it quite a while back.

Aww, that stinks. It has probably been 6-9 months since I saw one, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for it! I have that tool and I love the size variety it gives me with my blue one.

Whoa, if I had seen the WRMK corner rounder, I would have snapped it up. It is on my wish list (I can't remember if I want the blue or yellow handled one, lol).

DS and I went over there this morning. I needed gift bags for his teacher gifts, so that was my rationale. Ha. They had all the craft stuff for the week in a cart in the aisle, so I got to look through it! I didn't see the Studio Calico stuff some of you found, but there were embellishments from Pink Paislee (from the Hey Kid line, but I had them already) and a couple of things from their Luxe line. I got these arrows(having trouble inserting the photo of them) I didn't buy any other scrap stuff. They also had a bunch of DCWV pads and insta pads, buttons in jars, some background types of clear stamps & cling stamps (can't remember what brand those were), some American Crafts markers, artist-type colored pencils in sets. Pink Paislee Yuletide numbers like for a December Daily, some AC clothespin clips, some Paper House stickers and rub-ons, and a bunch of scrapbook kits from Mambi. Overall it was kind of disappointing, but I also don't really "need" anything so that's ok

I bought a thinner paper pad from that end cap. I also bought a 7 gysies pre-inked stamp. one of the stamps said "OBSERVATION". when I went to use it, i noticed the letter "T" was missing. not misspelled, just a void in the foam stamp where that letter should be. i went to exchange it and figured they had 2 more stamps like that so it should be okay. when we opened the other 2 stamp packs, the "T" was missing on those stamps too. so i just returned the whole thing. bummer because i really liked those stamps.

I'm 20 miles west of Chicago and usually hit the Villa Park, IL store. It's been a total void when I've gone in. Disappointing.

I went this weekend and it was a bust. I bought a couple of die and stamp sets but they were wiped out otherwise. They are moving in July and I think they just aren't getting much new stuff.

Went to 2 close to me today and they didn't get anything scrap related on the trucks this week. Bummer.

Tuesday Morning is so dangerous for me. I always end up buying way more than I could ever need. I am almost squarely in the middle of two different stores, so I really have to resist checking both. They always have different stuff, and I definitely become afflicted with the fear of missing out. I feel like my store is super inconsistent with the quality of their supplies. Sometimes they will have loads of great stuff for a few months and suddenly it runs a bit dry. I wish I had a better understanding of when they get shipments or if I'm just stopping by at really unfortunate times.

Next time you're in the stores, ask when they get their craft shipments and when they typically have them out on the shelves. Then you know! One of the stores by me is great about putting stuff out right away and the other isn't. So I know that other store is a bit of a crapshoot. But the girls who work at the second store know me & DS now (ha ha!) and will tell me what they got that's still in the back, etc.
I will also say the last few months have kind of stunk. They just haven't had good stuff in the crafts area. To the point I stopped going consistently. It really is hit or miss. My best advice is to go consistently. You might be hitting them after stuff has been picked over vs. right when they put out the new stuff.
