I almosssst didn't make it in time to say KUDOS & THANK YOU to allll the NPs, RNs, LPNS, LVNs, AND Aides out there!!!! (I include aides, because they work SO hard, and are VITAL in caring for patients; many times they are the eyes & ears for the licensed nurses!) ...I was a nurse's aide a million years ago....and they don't get a day, much less a week !---of recognition !!!! (at least as far as I know----maybe they do now ?!?) THANK YOU!!! And if any of you have been helped by a a nurse(s) and/or aides.... a simple " Thank You" is ALWAYS appreciated !!!! Sadly, A LOT of the feedback we'd get was negative! P.S....Today (May 12) is the last day of National Nurses' Week, and it's Florence Nightingale's birthday! Kudos & mad respect for ALL she did to improve nursing !!!! i

Happy Nurses week. Nurses are hard working, smart and compassionate. I've become well acquainted with my local hospital nurses and as they share some of their lives with me it gives me so much more respect for them. Also, it makes those yucky hospital visits and procedures so much easier. Your nurse might make you drink your icky medicine, but he's/she's saving your life. Thank your nurse profusely. I nurses. Thank you for all that you do take such good, wonderful care of us.

That is super cute!! I have spent my life with nurses with my history. Most are so wonderful. I've been very greatful especially in the last few years. My brother is also a PDICU nurse he was an Army Medic. My neice works in recovery at Mayo Clinic and trying to finish nursing school. DH's cousin is a flight nurse. I don't know how they do it.

scrappintoee Yea I just type too fast! He's in a different state. I have a long heart issue as does my nephew so our nurses are valued! My brother has four kids. But he's not an over protective parent like you would think he would be. With working with those kids. He's cautious but has common sense too, I think that's the Army part.. maybe. The stories he and my DH's cousins have told us. ... Neice works at the one here. But I go to a different department since she's in recovery. There's two locations here.

This almost NP thanks you! I am so proud that every time nurses' week rolls around, I am orienting a new hire and I love bringing up the newbies!
The pups are super cute! I'd give them both a good head scrub and squishy faces if I were there!
