My teaching partner and I found a couple new boxes. We don't use overheads anymore. She pitched a couple of boxes before I thought that maybe we could repurpose them

Do you still have an overhead projector lying around? Check with the librarian - that's where those things hide in my school. The kids might enjoy the novelty of projecting that way. When I was in school, I remember projecting a smaller drawing onto a piece of butcher paper on the wall and re-tracing it to make posters and presentations - maybe use it for passion projects, social studies presentations, etc.
Other than that, it's kind of translucent, right? Maybe use like vellum in a scrap project.

Well those used to be a nice, really thick non yellowing plastic. If they are the thick ones, my aunt used them all the time for glass/windows in miniatures before she died. Especially things like glass front china cabinet miniatures.
If they are that thick and paper then you might find someone who would appreciate them. Artist or someone who wants a stable see thru medium.

Are you talking about the clear pages? I teach first and have used them as the cover for class books and practice pages with a dry erase marker. I have printing practice pages that I cover with the clear pages and put both on a clipboard. They use dry erase markers to practice on them.

They make excellent templates for glass frosting or painting.

Funny this came up today. We were cleaning out some stuff in storage yesterday and I had my students throwing stuff away. They brought me a binder full of old overheads and had no idea what they were. They are 6th graders and had never seen an overhead. I just laughed at them and told them it was an old fashion Promethian Board. (Smart White Board)

Are they printable in a home printer? I'd use it for scrap booking... How much to ship to 75104? ?

I think those clear pages are really really expensive. My daughter wanted to use some on a class project last year and it was like $60 for a box of the cheapo ones. We figured out another way to do it!!

I use them for window cards nd clear cards. You can run them thru an embossing folder too! Give the kids some glass paint and make stained glass. You can make clear books with a cinch or bind it all. I love em!

If you're talking about transparencies, they are great for scrap booking and card making - especially the kind that you can use in a printer.

Just don't try to run the non-printer kind through a printer. You may end up buying a new printer!

Are you talking about Mylar or acetate? Is it frosted, and not slick? That's great for colored pencils or chalks.

They're great for craft projects and card making. Cards can be made by stamping an image on the front and then using markers or paint to fill in the image on the wrong side. I have a great stamp for a Christmas image & it is so pretty, almost like stained glass.
