My husband travels for work and is usually gone Tuesday morning through Friday afternoon. The traveling is all done by car except for the occasional plane ride to headquarters.
Anyway, I just got a message from him that he made a conversion (switching from one brand to his brand) which is a HUGE deal! I want to send him something at the hotel but just can't think of 1)what to send, and 2)how to get it to him. I don't want to do flowers, he would think that's too girly. But other than that I don't know what kind of things can actually be delivered.
Any ideas?

I would deliver yourself. Make a weekend wherever he is.

That's great! Is there a restaurant in his hotel? Maybe you could buy him a nice dinner and drinks. You could also look into delivering food from a nearby restaurant.
There are non-flower deliveries, like fruit and candy, almost everywhere but bigger cities have a lot more options. Will you share which city he's in?

That's sweet of you! I have no idea what to send but I'll be watching this as my dh has been traveling a lot lately as well and right now is gone at least 4 days a week with no real end in sight.

He's up near Olympia Washington.
I like the idea of dinner, but his company pays for all his meals.
maybe I'll check out the fruit bouquet thing, he's trying to eat healthier! What is that place called??

Does your DH have a favorite adult beverage? You might be able to find a liquor store local to him that can deliver a bottle of good whiskey or a 6 pack of craft beer or similar to his hotel.

I had no idea that FTD did this kind of thing! I love it! They have lots of great gifts for men Here are MORE IDEAS (some won't work for sending to a hotel - more for home but some other ideas would work)

the fruit bouquet company is Edible Arrangements... there is also a company called Shari's Berries that does (huge, very tasty) chocolate dipped strawberries.
eta: I see that I was posting at the same time as someone else, lol!! I didn't know FTD sent those sorts of things, either-- some of them would make a really nice gift!

Whatever hotel he is at, arrange with their restaurant or catering dept. Most hotels are used to creating things for special occasions.

My hubs travels a lot for work too. If it was him, I would have a liquor store deliver a 6 pack or a restaurant deliver a little dessert...something small.
Then I would plan more of a celebration and send him hints every day until he gets home. Dinner at a fave restaurant or sport tickets. He is happier around the family than alone at a hotel. He's enjoy a celebration with us more than anything I could get for him.

Watch on the Edible Arrangements---he might not have a place to refrigerate the cut fruit and would likely not eat all of an arrangement in one day!!

I've used this floral shop to send flowers to our orthodontist office which is right around the corner... turns out they do fruit baskets too: Artistry in Flowers
