Come on in and let's talk about it! ugh. Why can't these writers ever -- EVER! -- end things with happiness. With complete happiness. Why couldn't they just let Tony leave NCIS and go back to Israel? They wouldn't have had to have Ziva actually on, they could have had him on the plane and we hear the pilot saying "welcome to Tel Aviv". That would have made me happy. With or without Tali. Who is definitely cute. But....but....

And I love how he's taking Tali first back to Israel and then to Paris. And when Tali pointed to the photo of Tony and said "Abba". (which means "Daddy" more than "father", so it's more intimate and endearing). My dd is very upset, and she says she's going to choose to believe that Ziva is alive and well, that she escaped the house and will find Tony and Tali in Paris.

Is it gonna be like Bourne ending?!! Ohh I'm so afraid to watch!! We're watching the one from last week now on purpose. We waited! So we wouldn't have to wait so long!
PS I like the British agent?! Don't like the agent girl. Sorry just watching! lol!

I was pissed they killed her. Figured the writers were getting their revenge for her leaving and not coming back.
But tali? So cute! And appropriate that if anything were to make him leave, it'd be his child.
Now the writers better stick random updates in future shows! Even if it's a fake picture.

I was happy with the ending. Tony has a piece of Ziva and a new life to live.

Figured the writers were getting their revenge for her leaving and not coming back. That's what I thought, too. I'm totally guessing, but I think by using old clips they get to have her be a central character in the show without paying her to actually come and shoot a guest spot.

I'm just sad it's over. I wasn't overly shocked- but I wish Tony's "happily ever after" wasn't as a single dad, I was hoping he'd be able to go with Ziva somehow. But I would've sobbed buckets if they'd killed Tony off, so at least there's that.
I think it was off that the others just didn't seem *that* affected that she was killed. I mean, it was a big deal when she walked out- but she dies and only Tony is visibly emotionally upset?
And I don't like Bishop or the new girl, but I do like the new guy. However, I think this is where I get off. This is the last show I cared to try and remember to watch, and it might be great with the new team, I just don't care about them enough to continue. And I really don't care to get so involved in a TV show.
Overall, I'm happy with how he left. I think it was a natural progression for Tony- he's been struggling with a meaningless life, and Tali fixes that.

I'm with Monklady's daughter. In MY imagination, it was a nanny or someone else killed and Ziva meets Tali and Tony in Israel. That little girl was just the dangest cutest girl, wasn't she? I shouldn't be surprised that Ziva was killed though. The show has done that to pretty much every female lead except the current ones. And they better not kill off Abby!! I was doing ok until Abby started to cry. Then I lost it. I will miss you, Very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo. Even though I cannot stand Dr. Phil, I will give Michael W.'s new show (based on Dr. Phil) a chance this fall. Michael certainly did a great job acting tonight and I look forward to seeing him in more things.

My biggest issue is that keeping a child secret from her father is totally out of character for Ziva, especially with all the issues she had with her dad, her family overall, etc. She was super loyal and traditional. There's no way she would have sidled her daughter with that, or left Tony out in the cold like that.
I was also surprised by how unaffected everyone else was, especially Abby who is so emotional about everything.
But I do think it was in character for Tony. I can't think of any other circumstance under which he would have left with no advanced warning. I kept wondering in weeks past how they were going to account for that. This is about the only reason. It was sweet to see him take to fatherhood so well.

And it makes sense that she's dead now. They didn't kill her when Côte left so that they could leave the door open for her to come back but with Michael gone, there would be no reason for her to return.

I am so happy they killed Ziva.she didn't trust him enough, or love him like he loved her. And she kept his child from him. Iam so happy Tony has Tali.

I thought it was good. I noticed also that everyone seemed so unaffected emotionally.
I had tears, but the bit that made me cry the most was when Tony passed the title of Very Special Agent to McGee.

Totally peeved at how they ended the show last night, hated that they killed Ziva. But no body sooo...I can hope. I have been re-watching the old Ziva episodes on Netflix leading up to last night. Those two were so funny together and the chemistry was amazing! Ziva looked so beautiful and Tony so handsome. They had some great scenes and the writing was quick and entertaining. I think the writing last night and the last few episodes was just terrible and the storylines really mediocre.
Last night the way Tony talked, and acted just seemed odd and WOW did he look awful and overweight. Sorry Michael but what have you done to yourself. Last night he looked more and more like Robert Wagner!
Gibbs, Abby and McGee looked old and tired, to me, Ducky still looked like Ducky to me. I can't imagine 2 more years without Tony because his character use to have so much energy, Bishop is still just bland and uninteresting to me. I liked the new MI6 guy but not the new FBI woman ,meh. I barely liked the show after Ziva left now I probably will quit watching.

I am surprised that they did not use this year to build up McGee and Bishop. I like the MI-6 guy and kind of hope he is the new member of the team. I wish they had brought Tali in earlier in the season so we could see more of Tony's transition to father.

As exits go, I think this was one of the best ever! While sad they killed Ziva off (though a little part of me still holds out hope!), I have already mourned her loss on the show. There were some great moments, including the picture of Kate and Tony in the box...
Why is Tim so skinny?

I hadn't watched in a long while and I was shocked at how thin Tim is. He does not look healthy.
I liked the ending, a happy departure for a change.

There were some great moments, including the picture of Kate and Tony in the box... Why is Tim so skinny? I didn't catch the picture of Kate and Tony but I did notice the GSM magazine in the box. The episode where Ziva shows up to join the team she is waiting for Gibbs to show up and Tony gives that to her to read and she pulls out her own copy and tells him she already read it on the plane. I have seen that episode WAY too many times (obviously). I got choked up when Tali pointed to the picture and said Abba after Tony was saying that she didn't know who he is. And then I got snivelly again when he passed on the Very Special Agent title to McGee.

As goodbyes go, I thought they did a good job. I was disappointed by how they handled Ziva's last episode, so I feel like this fixed it a little bit (after all those years of waiting for those two to get together I felt like we deserved a bigger payoff). This ending felt quite satisfying. I loved McGee asking if Tony and Ziva had been an item and Tony not answering (allowing us to decide for ourselves!) and that line about "a very fond farewell." I generally hate the idea of people hiding a child from their parent, but I'll forgive them this one time, because I think it was a desperate writer's room scramble to make these two actor's departures work, especially since they wouldn't/couldn't get any new Ziva scenes to wrap things up. I liked that Tali gave Tony a good reason to leave suddenly, and something to share with Senior - I think they're going to be fantastic dads to that little girl. I'm good with the headcanon that Ziva escaped and will meet up with them in Paris (especially because I missed the very beginning of the episode where the details about the farmhouse were presumably revealed). At this point, even though I love Gibbs and McGee and Abby and Ducky, I'm probably going to consider the show over. I wish American shows were better at knowing when they've finished their run so they can finish on a high point. I love NCIS but it could have probably finished well a year or two ago.

I was never a Ziva fan so this dint effect me, but I love the idea of tony having a little girl! I love the MI 6 guy and hope he sticks around. I hate seeing Tony go but I felt this was a good way for him to go.

I kept thinking that they didn't look thru that stroller enough. Finding things in the side pockets, really who does that! Oh there's a photo, well what else is there, maybe a note? Sad to see Tony go, glad he got a child. I sure will miss him.

I ugly cried through the whole thing. I liked the ending. Me too! I've never been a Tony 'fan' I always watched because of Gibbs, but 3 minutes in, I was ugly crying and couldn't stop. I still have hope that Ziva managed to get out and is in hiding and I'm choosing to believe that she will find them in Paris. I mean seriously, how does a child survive in the house, but no one else.

I think they did the Tony/Ziva/Tali thing to satisfy all the "shippers" out there. it was a good way to do it without actually bringing back Ziva to the show for the last episode. giving Tony a kid was good because a kid would be the only reason that could make him rethink his goal of leading a team of his own. that talk he had with Jimmy was great in supporting that.
