All the history talk in various threads got me thinking about dew drops. Remember the craze with them? They were these tiny acrylic bead-like things you add to vases or glass. But there was this craze where people were adhering them to layouts and cards, in place of a brad or glitter drop.
I remember Michaels carrying them and there were crazy ebay listings. I think I even RAK'd a few bags on Splitcoast stampers. Not sure if I was on 2 p's at that point.
Anyone?!
I just came across some in my supplies the other day and put them out for my friend's kids to add to art projects, they loved them.

I somehow had never heard of them, and had to Google.
They look like enamel dots, without the adhesive.
How "tall" or raised off the page are they? Taller than an enamel dot?

Ha! That's so awesome that you all still use them. They really are pretty! LavenderLayoutLady they do have more of a dome than enamel dots so they stick out a bit. I think that's why I got away from using them bcz they either were too heavy for the page or couldn't mail card without extra postage.

Yep, I made a bunch of them with TH alcohol inks but stopped using them since they are a little too tall for me Thank you for the reminder OP, I told someone on FB that I would mail her some while I was camping and forgot

I just used a bunch on fishie cards as bubbles. I was making boxes of cards for the other teachers at my school. I use them quite often and color them with colored sharpie markers. I'll try to link a photo. Fish-B-day Card by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Nylene your fish card is so cute. I love the seaweed and sentiment. I love the fish stickers. I have two packages of those stickers. They are so darn cute. Dew Drops are taller than enamel dots. I don't use them in scrapbooking very much. I love them for cardmaking, art journaling and mixed media. I have all clear ones and color them with alcohol markers to match my project. I bought a bag during the big popularity for a $1.00 The bag was broken at Michael's. I have enough to last a lifetime.

I still have 2 jars of Dew Drops, plus a large bag of clear ones that I bought in Michael's. I split the large bag with my friend, and I still have a lot. Those are the ones I color with my Copics. I still use them on cards occasionally.
