I'm thinking about making one this year because summer always seems to pass me by without me really enjoying it. I'd love to hear what you plan to do to embrace the summer season!
I know for sure I want to:
Eat lots of ice cream! Play mini golf Go Kayaking Take the new camper out for the first time (and hopefully a couple more times) Make s'mores Refinish the deck and put in a walkway to it (it's more like a patio) and add plants
So what's on your list...

I haven't made one yet, but I plan to. I love to have small things, along with trips, to look forward to.
I have never been kayaking, but my dd-20, went for the first time last weekend and she loved it!
We used to go camping a few times every summer but we haven't been in the last 2. We have a smaller pop up camper that we love. Maybe camping should be on my list.
Summer is great and too short. Enjoy whatever you do!

We really want to get our nephew and our three nieces down here for visits this summer. We're working on logistics right now. (Nephew and niece are nine hours away, nieces are three hours away, and all have busy lives!)
I also want to get a new grill and do a lot of grilling this summer.
I want to visit my parents in August and have some quality time with them.
I also want to take more advantage of the summer fruits and vegetables this year.

Summers are always so busy for us, doing a bucket list would be like making New Year's resolutions for me! I would feel bad when most of them fall by the wayside not done halfway (or less!) in.
The things we try to fit in before school starts back up at the end of August (which feels WAY too early for me, but it beats having our kid in school until mid-June):
Ice cream at the GOOD ice cream store in town at least a few times, the "kid-sized" cone has about a pint of ice cream in it!
Have a few play dates for DD and her school friends.
Go to the county fair and/or the State Fair.
Watch fireworks over the lake from the pontoon with friends on 4th of July weekend.
Eat home grown tomatoes and raspberries.
Host a scrapbook weekend or two at my house with friends.
That's about it. Anything else just isn't realistic for our family.

I always make a bucket list for summer. We've started ours. I consider it something just for fun. I don't feel any pressure to complete it; it's just nice to have a reminder of the things you'd like to try and do and check them off as you do them.
Here's mine so far: Several hikes Swimming at least half a dozen times Go tubing down the Tuscawaras River Hit at least one flea market and yard sale Have a picnic Do the ropes course in Strongsville, Ohio Putt-putt golfing At least one drive-in movie Attend several free concerts downtown (we're going to our first tonight) Visit the Finger Lakes Do a trip around ohio to check out waterfalls Watch an Ohio Shakespeare production at Stan Hywett Watch a drag race Play croquet Go camping Visit the safari near Zanesville Go canoeing or kayaking Visit a waterpark Pick berries Attend a local festival Watch fireworks Get my scrapbook room/office organized

There are some great ideas here to add to my "hope to do" list of this summer. I love hearing what others have planned - it often inspires me to try something new.

I'd like to get the kitchen organized Start my blogging or whatever I'm going to use for sharing photos of the boys with family, I had a blog for about 2 years but I fell behind when I got pregnant and had baby 2 Tie dye shirts Host a bonfire at the beach See the fire works at the harbor Finish sewing a sweatshirt that was a December project, we all caught the flu and it went on the back burner and I've been terribly busy ever since. I'm making wyldstyle's hoodie from the Lego movie. I thought dh should graffiti spray paint it with aerosol fabric paint but he convinced me I should use applique as it bends easier. Unfortunately that means it's my task to finish. I'd really like to go to Disneyland one more time before our passes expire but I might have to take the kids ages 4 and 1 alone so that may or may not happen.

All spring I've been telling the kids, this year we are making a bucket list and having a blast (around my work schedule).
Perfect timing for this thread.
My bucket list so far:
Use the science museum membership (I've already used it enough to justify its purchase, but ya know, I wanna really get some use out of it)
Go to the zoo
Eat at the hibachi restaurant
Have a family photo taken, with me in it!
....(Add other things here that have escaped my mind)
