This will be the last day of 2 Peas Tell Your Story event! Hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have. Thanks so much to everyone who participated! Thought as a closing activity, we could make a list that helps us look back on the merry month of May. If you want to play along, you can copy and paste MY list into your message, then just replace my responses with yours. Here we go! 1. Looking back at the Month of May, what made you smile? Hands down, it was playing with my grandkids. So many sweet, funny, roll your eyes moments!
2. What, if anything, were you able to create in May? I was able to complete quite a few pages in my dgs's album. A couple of bd cards, and about 20 journal pages for LOAD over at Scrap Happy. 3. Which challenges were you able to complete (from the TYS threads or from any other site)? Finished KikiPea 's sketch challenge. I didn't even complete my own TYS challenges, even the easiest one: to take one photo every day. But I DID take over 200 photos in the last 4 days. Do those count? But I DO want to get back to those challenges when I get back into scrapping: SOON, I hope! 4. What is your next scrappy project? Still need to finish dgs's album. And I want to do some pages from this past weekend while I still remember the details. I printed the photos today. So will be working on spring and the beginning of summer 2016.
5. What new--or old--products, photos &/or ideas are you looking forward to playing with? I want to work on getting more mixed media onto my scrapbook pages. And also to use more of the embossing folders and dies and stamps I have in my stash. I get bored easily, so am always looking for new ways to tell a story on a scrapbook page. I am also always trying to get a little more foil onto my creations--without breaking down to buy the Minc. 6. What was your last scrappy purchase? Stopped at a LSS in Edmonton today and picked up some random papers I think I may be able to use with the new photos. Sadly for them, they didn't have any of the specific things I was looking for, and I forgot to look for baseball themed paper (although I don't remember seeing any there the last time I was in) 7. What's on the top of your scrappy wishlist? I want to get my hands on some of those Nuvo drops! There are 2 kinds of them, and I want to play with all of them. So far, no luck finding an outlet that has them in stock! 8. What is the last photo you took? Took a few selfies with 2 of my grandsons last night. 9. What is your favorite photo from the month of May? Took lots of fun pics the last few days, everything from flag football to swimming lessons, to bike rides, to fun at the park and in the house, to baseball. Hard to choose a fav, but of the photos sent to me, I think my favorite is the one my dil sent me: a really fun photo of my ds & their girls taken over this past weekend. 10. How do you plan to scrap that photo? June calendar page!

1. Looking back at the Month of May, what made you smile? Summer is coming! Pics of new (shorter) haircuts, pics of last days of school & school year-end picnics, pics of kids in their new shorts. 2. What, if anything, were you able to create in May? I worked on and completed many layouts for various albums I have going. I focused mainly on my kids' albums, especially their school albums. I still have three layouts on my desk, waiting for thier finishing touches. 3. Which challenges were you able to complete (from the TYS threads or from any other site)? Well, I definitely caught photos of motion. Kids running around, and spinning on playground equipment. 4. What is your next scrappy project? Tonight I'll order all of May's photos to be printed off Snapfish. 5. What new--or old--products, photos &/or ideas are you looking forward to playing with? Nuvo drops. Though, I have to order them first. No one carries them locally. 6. What was your last scrappy purchase? Oddly enough, it was at a small flea market. I bought a 20 pack of Recollections mini doilies in coral, mint green, and white. I've already used three of the white ones on layouts. 7. What's on the top of your scrappy wishlist? More WRMK albums. I need two 8.5x11" and one 12x12. But it's hard to pull the trigger on that one. 8. What is the last photo you took? Pics of a cardinal that visits our backyard. But I'm hoping there will still be some May photos taken today. We're visiting a museum this morning. 9. What is your favorite photo from the month of May? My ds1 "graduating" from preschool. Made me cry. 10. How do you plan to scrap that photo? I already have school paper just waiting for me to put that baby on there.

A fave I took was of my 2 cats on the bed together. My Percy (a.k.a momma's boy) is resting peacefully, while Winston (a.k.a the velociraptor) is standing behind his head...it looks like a sweet pic. The reality, Winston was just about to bop Percy in the head...off camera I had a water bottle aimed at him..the pic is of him rethinking and weighing his present course of action.
10. How do you plan to scrap that photo? with journaling!! for both of them
Thanks for the prompts this month. I have truly enjoyed it.
