Welcome to June. How about a mood board to put us in a summery mood?
(mood board from here)
All types of projects count (paper, digi, hybrid, PL, art journaling, anything else you create) and if you share your projects online please link them here so we can admire and leave some love. You can find instructions to post in the Refupeas gallery in this thread but shout out if you need help.

oh, pretty summery colours.
I just finished a layout before opening this thread that uses a similar palate to the top left/middle colours plus cream - I think mine are slightly more blue. Perfect for ocean photos. My next layout is sunset pictures so I'm sure I'll be using the colours on the bottom

Gorgeous colors! And I like the added details, like the shoes. Nothing says summer like shoes kicked off somewhere!
Thanks for finding this mood board. Not sure if I have papers with these colours, but I can definitely see my dylusions paints coming out to play. Her colours are a little bright, but some "white picket fence" does wonders to lighten them up.

Frazzled Mom each month I post a challenge that changes from month to month. For June the challenge is to use the mood board to inspire your scrapping. You could take the colour scheme from one or more of the images (or the coloured circles at the bottom of the board), one of the images in the mood board might spark a story (so maybe the cake makes you think of a birthday or wedding story), maybe the patterns remind you of a paper or product in your stash that you'd like to use, or maybe the feel of the mood board makes you think of spring or summer so you pull out some photos from those seasons to scrap. There are no rules and no hard guidelines but I hope it inspires you in some way and that you'll join us this month.

Here's my take.  Took inspiration from the colors, the bows on the shoes, and that funky chevron style is my transparency layer. I'll upload to the group flickr tomorrow. |

Hi everyone! I hope it's alright if I participate also. Please excuse the VERY old product here. I am just getting back into scrapping and I'm trying to use from stash as much as possible lol.  I made this card and matching envelope for our sitter who is so caring for our son. She LOVES pink and anything floral so this mood board fit the bill! Thank you for the challenge! (I am awaiting approval for the Flickr group but for now here is my photo.)  |
