I honestly can't think of anything that I *can't* eat. I have food likes and dislikes, of course. But I can't think of any food that makes me ill or I have the sort of reaction to that you are all describing.

bananas are my worst-they make me seriously sick. Even the smell. Can't even do banana bread
Tapioca- So gross. It's like little balls of fat Black Licorice Caraway seeds- *shudder*
I have other dislikes, but none that make me seriously queasy or sick.

Bananas - I want to like them, I know they are good for you but I can't eat them - it is the texture of them I think. I just can't do it. ![](http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/funny/2/brian-dancing-banana-smiley-emoticon.gif)

Tomatoes. I want to like them-I love spaghetti sauce and most tomato based foods, but I hate raw tomatoes! I am right there with you. I like tomato sauce, and most tomato based foods, but if there is a single seed or chunk of tomato-cooked or raw-I'm out. It is not going to happen. And right on up there with tomatoes is mayonnaise. I gag just little typing it out. Any food that has it in it, on it, as part of it, or around it? Nope. No way in hell.

Believe it or not, I can't eat ice-cream with cold chocolate chunks in it. I hate to have to make them melt. That texture combo is awful to me, but I'm fine with caramel or brownie or peanut butter or something in there.

I was going to say that the only things I won't eat are offal (of any kind) and oysters. Then you mentioned soggy bread. My stomach is heaving just thinking about soggy bread! ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/c2qi57qoGpXKdFvBtXdt.jpg)

Onions or peppers in any form, seafood, mushrooms, asparagus, brussel sprouts, beef liver (not enough ketchup in the world for that). There are a lot of other's I'd rather not eat, but these will make me nauseous every time.

Actually, it would be easier to list the things I do like. There are so many foods that I have a really strong aversion to. But I agree with a lot of posters about things like mustard and olives and tomatoes

Reading these replies reminded me of a few I had forgotten - like carraway seeds. Yuck.
I want to like celery. I just can't seem to. Not even celery seed in a dressing or salad. Nope, nope, nope. Same thing w/fennel.
Once in my teens when I had the flu I made myself some orange flavored tea. Got sick due to the flu, but to this day I don't like orange flavoring in anything - like orange chicken. I can eat oranges & drink the juice, but don't put it in my food.

Bleu Cheese (including salad dressing etc). I seriously can't swallow it, once it hits my tongue I start to gag. I tried it several times as a teenager and then in my 20's. I finally gave up after an embarrassing moment at a very nice wedding reception where I couldn't find anything to spit it in until my husbands aunt grabbed a kleenex out of her purse when she saw me gagging.

I could NEVER be a judge on Top Chef.
Raw tomatoes
Olives, any variety
Sour pickles
Lima beans
Avocado
Black licorice
Pimentos
Raw bananas (texture)
Anything grape flavored other than a GRAPE
On the other hand, I LURV liver, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, mushrooms, all seafood (including squid).

I dislike certain foods but not to the point of making me gag or get sick just looking at it. Although, I did have a bad experience with liver as a child so that might do it.

I'm another one who has an issue with soggy bread...makes me do the involuntary full body shiver. I generally can't handle oatmeal either. The texture makes me gaggy and then I can't swallow. I have recently found a more grainy oatmeal that doesn't have such an icky texture, so there may be hope for me yet.

For real I cannot eat anything with Rosemary....makes me violently ill. I recently found out why....I am HIGHLY allergic to pine trees...rosemary and oregano are in the same pine family. Interesting fact for the day...LOL

You know, sometimes (as I watch the Walking Dead) I think if there is ever a zombie apocalypse I will probably die of starvation if I have to wait to find food I like. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/OrTI4SBmZ2ZYSFv6ag4f.jpg)
