Well, I say plus-size, but it starts at size 10, goes up to 30-something. It popped up in my Pinterest feed so I checked it out and looked at a bunch of "unboxing" videos on Youtube.
You pay a $20 styling fee per box...you get five items...if you buy anything, the $20 comes off the cost. If you buy all five items, you get 25% off all. Free shipping to you and free shipping to mail back what you don't want. And you fill out a profile with sizes and style and color preferences, etc. You can also link to your Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram to give them an idea of how you dress and what you like. I knew there were sites that did this, but I'd never heard of one for plus-sizes. I watched about 10-12 videos, and the clothes looked cute. I am about as far from fashionable as you can get...seems like it might be fun to have someone "style" me. So I'm giving it a shot.
Anybody tried it? (Or Stitchfix or whatever, for that matter.) What did you think?

I tried it and wasn't impressed. Very expensive stuff, imo. I told them that pants had to be short in length and I think they sent tall. I'm not spending even more money to hem jeans. I'm nut a pattern person and told them that and they sent patterns. I get one piece to try something but nothing in the box made me happy.

I dont know about this one specifically but normally you dont get to see before they ship. Its a surprise in the mail. If you dont like the stuff, you mail it back free and you keep (and get charged) for what you keep.

Yes, I've tried it and got 3 boxes.
The first box was a mix. The sizes were off on everything. Some things were HUGE and others were tight. I liked about 3 of the 5 things they sent, but didn't end up buying anything.
The second box I got a LOT more specific on what I liked and didn't like. I put my actual measurements in (as opposed to just my clothes size). I was specific about my personal style, and what colors I would and wouldn't wear.
When the second box arrived I was SO disappointed. I had specifically asked for no pastels, no jeans, and no horizontal stripes. I got 2 pastel tshirts, jeans, and a shirt and a sweater both with horizontal stripes. I was thinking WTH??! I tried everything on, the fit was still off, and I hated it all. Sent the whole box back.
After that, I saw a FB post from them asking how we liked our boxes. I posted that I was pretty sad about what I got. Within an hour I had a private message from them asking for more info. They agreed that my box definitely wasn't up to par. They offered to send an entirely new box, put together by one of their senior stylists. She asked that I got super duper specific with my profile. I did. They waived the $20 styling fee and refunded my last box's styling fee of $20.
The 3rd box came, and I loved it all! I got a fabulous wrap dress that I had seen on Instagram, and asked. I loved it. However it was about $150 for a plain black wrap dress. Hurt to send it back, but too pricey for me. I got another cute skirt that I kept, a tank top that was in a pattern I'd never have chosen on my own - but I liked. They also sent another shirt and a sweater. Neither I loved for the price tag, but in general I liked.
So...after all that rambling. I do like the service. If you go for it be SUPER specific in what you like/don't like and use measurements. I asked for items in the $50 range. Almost everything I got all three times was more like $75-$100. Pricey for me. So, I'm not going to do it again for a while at least.
