Wow, I was skeptical but thought I would try an "off brand" of bands for my FitBit Alta. They just arrived today, and I am so pleased. It took 2 weeks to get them but they are awesome. They are just like the ones from FitBit except those cost $29 each, and I got 10 for $20!! I am wearing the lime green right now. So fun!!! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EWYQWAQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

CUTE! I'm currently trying to charge my new Alta...I'm not sure it's working though. I may need a link when I get tired of my black and plum colored ones that came with my package.

I was also recently surprised that other companies sold fitbit bands on amazon. I ordered one a few days ago and am waiting for it to arrive.

I was oogling the lime green band on Amazon yesterday. LOL!
Good to know they work nicely.

Do you like your Alta? Does it do anything cool that the Flex doesn't do? Also, how do the bands attach to the Alta?
Thanks!!

The Alta has a screen display that shows the info you would normally get from the app with the flex. There are technically two bands that click onto the Alta and the bands fit together with a clasp similar to the flex, but I find it it to be more secure than the flex.

Kind of OT here, but I hate wearing my Fitbit because the rubber band makes my arm sweat. Is there a replacement band available made of something non-sweat-inducing?

I saw that but they were not for me. I love my different colored bands then I dress up with layering nice bracelets (Uno de 50 pieces, Pandora, etc.).
