besides the obvious!
I just tried on some skirts that didn't fit before and now they fit! Yay! But, my legs always get a "rash" due to my awesome thighs that rub. I'd love to wear the new found skirts over the summer before they're too big for me (yes, they will be by the end of the summer!), but I need something to help with the rashes I tend to get.
Any suggestions?

What beachgurl said. They are great when you just need smoothed out and they are just long enough that it takes care of the chub rub.

Body Glide or any of the runner's chafing products.

Jockey skimmies -- so very comfy (not tight like Spanx) and no thigh rubbing issues.
In the past, I've used Anti-Monkey Butt powder or antiperspirant with success.

Found out about Skimmies here and they are awesome. Put skirts back in my summer wardrobe.

Just use Body Glide. Even stick deodorant works to prevent it.

I wear shortie bike shorts, not for chafing, but because my frigging granny panties won't keep from drooping off my bony ass.

Jockey Skimmies are awesome!!! Yep, me too. I like my panties covered too in case of those unfortunate "wind moments." The skimmies are great!

Jockey Skimmies here too. They aren't so tight as Spanx and they're fairly breathable. I just got some new colors for this year because I loved my black ones last year. My friend also recommended a powder from Lush cosmetics. I've forgotten what it was called, but it was popular for preventing thigh chafing.

Now that there are suspicions of a link between using products containing talc and ovarian cancer, I would make sure any kind of powder I was using for that purpose doesn't contain talc.

I bought some cotton pantaloons. They hit mid thigh and look like a slip if my skirt blows. I call them my bloomers.

Do any of you who get by with powder or body glide live in a really humid climate? Because here in Houston, anything like that is pretty much melted off and gone within an hour. Just sayin'.

Humidity is one issue, yes, body glide just doesn't last for me. Another is, how to say it? When your thighs are as big as mine? I could start fires with my thigh rub, and body glide only works for so long. So the Jockey skimmies it is - they work like a charm.

I haven't worn a skirt or dress in years due to my weight. However I'm considering trying some longer skirts as a coworker who is similar in body shape looks very nice in them. But I'll need something to wear under them. I'm checking out the Jockey Skimmies online but don't know what size to order if I get some skirts. I'm right between two sizes according to their size chart. If you have tried them do they run large or small?

I wear an 18W and ordered Skimmies in a 2X, and they fit fine. BTW, you can get them cheaply and NWT on eBay.

Ok, I have to ask, do you wear underwear with the skimmies? Aren't they hot (temperature)?

Ok, I have to ask, do you wear underwear with the skimmies? Aren't they hot (temperature)? Surprisingly, no. I find I am cooler with them on as they wick moisture away. I consider them underwear and don't wear panties with them. (Sorry, I am a big fan. I could sing their praises all day.)

99% of my wardrobe is dresses so I clicked on this thread as I usually wear Bonds granny pants.
Skimmies look great but so far I can't find any for sale in Australia. $34 AUD PLUS shipping for one pair is a bit dear for me, my Bonds are about $16 but I normally wait for sales, use my Myer discount card and stock up.

Petti-pants -- they are like a slip, but with legs.
