My 12 year old DS really wants to go. We are fans, but I am wondering if the show was ahem, clean-ish. I am okay with swears, but, just want to make sure there was no overt sexuality or violent images.
Has anyone been?
TIA, Erin

I haven't been to this tour, but I know the show as a whole. It's really not the music/bands you need to worry about- it's the crowd. Depending on the venue, it can be a lot more than you are ok with for your 12 year old. If it is an outdoor festival lineup deal, I wouldn't suggest going. If they are playing an arena or stadium, that might be more appropriate.
I will say that taking our then 12 year old to Judas Priest was one of the best times of our lives, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. We love concerts and showing them what live music is all about has been truly rewarding for us.
Good luck deciding.

Yes, I am concerned about the fans, too...thanks! It is an outdoor venue and we would be on the grass. I am sure there will be a ton of pot smoking, and I feel like I can address that with him. But, if people are taking off their clothes and groping each other...I certainly don't want the poor kid to be exposed to that.
I am so torn because he loves Black Sabbath and Ozzy, and it is their last tour. And, there are just so few legends left....why can't people just be cool? :-P
