ENOUGH! I have had enough of your trollish, bigoted, idiotic, inane behaviour. I've had it. You need to go far far away. I'm done with you. And so should everyone else. Go to fucking hell with your bigoted, dangerous obsession with guns. THIS IS NOT THE TIME NOR THE PLACE TO SPEW YOUR FUCKING BULLSHIT ABOUT EVERYONE HAVING GUNS. You are the lowest of the lowest scum. That you even think that you're right is infuriating. Honestly? And I don't say this lightly. I hate you and every single thing you stand for. You are an embarrassment and you should be ashamed of yourself. You won't be though because you are too stupid and too fucking idiotic to realize how fucking stupid and wrong you really are. Go away and stay in your cave troll. That's where you belong. Actually a cave is too good for you. Just go far away and stop insulting people with your presence. For the rest of the peas, I'm sorry for my outburst. I'm sure I'll be roasted alive for it. But I don't give a flying fuck anymore. I've reached the end of my chain with this sack of flesh. I can't even call her a woman or a human being. She deserves nothing, especially not our camaraderie. That she's here is a disgrace. I'm out. Don't hold back next time. You're lucky that I didn't start first. You are despicable. Are you really that fucking stupid?

I'm sure there are multiple stories out there we all haven't seen/read the same ones. Regardless, it doesn't change that we each need to be able to defend ourselves at a moment's notice. I'm not sure why you may think this is a horrible thing to say, especially in light of the current circumstances. You've seen way to many movies if you think you'll be able to pull out your weapon and actually hit a moving target that is shooting at you or others. Trained LEO's have trouble hitting gunmen in these situations. All you would end up doing is either shooting some innocent bystander or drawing the gunman's attention to you. I said the same thing in that gun law post the other day. If you think you you are smarter than the shooter who planned it, then you are dumb. This guy used the element of surprise, caught people off guard at a place where they wouldn't be aware so much. He called the police and told him what he was going to do -and took hostages. If that idiot rainbow bunny thinks that she's going to shoot the bad guy while he's got hostages then she us stupider than I thought. I think this will be the end for rainbow bunny here. She needs to check herself into a mental facility because there is something seriously wrong with you, and having guns around you is just so much worse.

The only person to blame is the terrorist, no one else. But it's one thing to say you've lost faith in a system, whatever that system that might be and to thumb your nose and say "nani nani boo boo, if you only did this!" That's where the anger is coming from here. It's misplaced anger being misdirected toward someone who has done nothing more than state her opinions just as so many others have. To the general you..... If you don't agree with her, STOP READING HER POSTS ON THESE THREADS. If they make you angry, STOP READING HER POSTS ON THESE THREADS. Put her on ignore and only open her posts on threads where she is less apt to annoy you. Won't happen. Certain peas just love having someone they can berate, swear at, call names and feel justified in doing so. It is acceptable to them to do this to Rainbow and they don't have to worry about looking like c*nts. To ignore her robs them of their chance to be vicious and they simply will not give that up that opportunity.

My heart is sick over this incident. But the issue is not gun control. It's how we get over our country's political correctness that prevents us from going after and stopping people who express and act with hatred towards the people of this country. The FBI dropped the ball here. After expressing his desire to commit a terrorist act in 2013, this guy should have been stopped. But nooooo. We can't call anyone and Islamic Radical or a terrorist. Obama won't have it. So, here we are. The FBI investigated him "twice" for his incendiary words about killing Americans.

This is precisely the type of naivety that characterizes he gun control left. People like this terrorist will find the weaponry, whether or not it's legal to do so. I don't know why this is such a difficult concept for people to understand.

This is how they think, and they are bringing this here, to our country. Take a stand, or just ignore? I say take a stand against this. This is not a religion of peace when you are directed to kill others.

I was the one who had never seen the inside of a gun store except for the scene in Commando. There are so many guns now that I don't know what difference it will make. Those who want guns will get them now. I don't have any answers. I am just heartsick for all the people who lost their lives and were wounded.

Some of us use Tapatalk and it's not possible to block her on it. Believe me I wish I COULD block her (and a few others!) Then be a big girl and make a choice not to engage. I belong to another message board that does not allow personal attacks on other posters. You can discuss differences of opinion but not name call and such. Here is a snippet of their TOS: "Any time a group of people get together there are bound to be disagreements. This forum is no exception. We are in no position to tell you what to think of ideas you see expressed here, but in our Terms of Service we do lay out the rules about how you can post here. If you find that there is a fellow poster whose thoughts you find you are unable to even read without losing your composure, your "Ignore List" is your friend." Posters there are encouraged to "scroll and roll" like grown-ups. Although I enjoy 2peasrefugees tremendously, I sure wish people could debate issues without it resorting to childish name calling and personal attacks. How can we hope for world peace when we can't even acknowledge that people have various beliefs, thoughts, opinions and lifestyles?

I see a lot of similarities between my child and Rainbow (not calling you a child, Rainbow.) and so I am acutely aware of the cruelty displayed against Rainbow here. I'm typing this as I sit at a table across from my child. If more mothers understood how it feels to have a child who is susceptible to these verbal attacks just because they are incapable of negotiating normal social interaction successfully, maybe they would learn how very cruel it is to point their fingers at someone they don't understand like they do her.

When someone who is supposed to love you is beating you up, I'd say that it's a textbook example of someone showing you who/what they are. Instead of criticizing her for 'only being married 2 months,' you should be praising her for getting the hell away from him, and her parents for caring enough to help her out of the situation. But then again, I wouldn't expect someone like you to be able to comprehend that. WTH?? who ARE YOU? I am not criticizing her at all!! or her parents. I don't get what you THINK I am saying. good lord. You're just nasty. I am saying we do NOT know what he was thinking, or why he did what he did. We can't blame anyone, but him. For his ex-wife to give a statement so early, about a man she was only married to for a few months, several years ago, is premature. She hasn't been around him since. We don't know what he has done after that.

Never mind that some of the shit she posts is offensive to others, you keep applauding that behavior. I used to respect you ~Lauren~ the operative word being---used to. Telling us we are "c*nts" when the majority of the peas on the thread started by gently telling her it wasn't the time for her gun Lovin' crap and she went right into her obtuse game playing anyway, makes you just as despicable.

This guy was an American. He didn't 'bring this to our country.' It's here, and has been for a long, long time. Religious terrorism isn't just coming from 'them/Muslims.' There's just as much of it coming from Christian radicals. If you can claim to separate peaceful Christians from radical Christians, then what's the issue with separating radical Muslims from peaceful ones? Xenophobia? Ignorance? Bigotry?

IMO, no way do Christian radicals even compare to Islamic terrorists. I doubt the Christian radicals have sleeper cells everywhere planning to take down this country and kill as many of us as possible. I don't believe I even mentioned "Muslims".

The behavior in this thread is shocking to me, and I don't mean the predictable baiters who are reliably being themselves.
There was a thread earlier this week titled so and so burn in hell, I think it was Palestine related and between that and the shut-your-whore-mouth-in-the-name-of-peace-and-solidarity brigade going on in here, I'm surprised at the hysteria. Strong emotions, horrible realities, keyboard anonymity - but this is kind of crazy.
I'm going to be that patronizing asshole who suggests some deep breaths - I'm sorry, but really, talking to other human beings this way is entirely non-productive.
This is a devastating situation, no need to be hateful and histrionic - no one is listening when everyone is shouting.
/god that seemed really cliche and trite, and whatever, I wanted to say something. Carry on.

I find the swearing at her and the name calling to be offensive. YOU don't get to tell me that I think is offensive nor do you get to tell me I can't say what I think.
