Ummmm ... I'll have to ask the cleaning lady. But hardwood floor, raised bed - I'm thinking she just does around the edges where it's visible, and I'm fine with that.

Yup, me too! I love my Roomba for getting under furniture so I don't need to move it. It doesn't deep clean the carpet and I probably should move furniture every so often and get under the bed but the Roomba does well enough. It keeps the dust bunnies down at least! Love it.

I vacuum under my bed every week, and find all sorts of miscellaneous objects there. Shoes, sock, discarded books. There was a tennis ball there the other day. A tennis ball. No-one in the house plays tennis. Very mysterious.

When I rearrange (which hasn't been done since we moved in 2007), when I buy new bedroom furniture (ours is 20 years old and I have no plans to replace) when we move again which, Lord willing, will be never. So yeah, when I die my kids will have a heavy ass layer of dust to contend with!

Once a year. I should do it more often because there is so much dust and pet hair when I do. I will have to work on that, maybe

I have an attachment that gets low and is really long. It takes five extra minutes when I'm vacuuming the room - so every other day probably. We have three cats and a dog, so I can't really ignore it. But I really love cleaning. I'm weird like that. I have an autoimmune disease which causes joint pain, so I actually have help cleaning my house. It's one of my greatest sorrows.

The second Tuesday of every week.
Actually I have hardwood and my Swiffer fits under the bed just fine. But it is probably about once a month I think to bend over and do it.

Never!! I do move the night stands and vacuum behind those. We have been in this house 3 years and had the bedroom painted 2 years ago, so I did then....I'm good for a long, long time.

I could not move the furniture by myself.
I would have to move two very heavy night stands and a king size bed on a very big/heavy frame to do this.
Plus all the storage underneath.

It used to be pretty much never because our old bed frame weighed as much as a car, we now have a new raised frame. I vacuum under the bed every week, thanks to my Shark hardwood floor attachment I don't need to move the bed.

My bed? I have just a couple plastic lidded storage bins underneath and pull them out every couple weeks so that I can use the hose attachment to vacuum underneath.
My kids? Hahahahahahahaha....... Yeah, I know they don't go to the trouble of vacuuming under there. So, probably the last time theirs was vacuumed was last summer when I remodeled their bedroom.

I run the vac under there at least twice a week. I don't store anything under it and have hardwood floors so it's no big deal.

We never move the bed to do it. I vacuum under there about once a month with the long attachment and that's good enough for me. If the bed needed to be moved for some other reason, I'd vacuum thoroughly then, but I'm not moving the damn thing just for periodic vacuuming.

hardwood and a dog and cat. I get hellacious dust bunnies. That said, I only do it when I can't stand it. It might be as long as 6 months between vacuuming under there. If I can't see it, I don't clean it is my motto! This applies to under the fridge and behind the couch as well.

I have a wooden sleigh bed and that thing has to weigh over a 1000lbs. I think it has been moved once in 12 years and that was because we were putting down new floors.
I vacuum and swiffer as far as I can and just let it go.

About 3 or 4 times a month. I have a sleep number bed on wheels and hardwood floors, it's not too hard for me to move.

Wood floors and raised beds...my bed is approx 18" off the floor. I run the swiffer under there when it looks like it needs it. Maybe once a month. If I had to move the bed, I wouldn't do it. Not a priority. I wish I could only do it once a month, but have to swiffer at least once a week. If our bedroom door is open any dust under the bed is very visible on the hardwood as you come up the stairs. I do it often enough that the swiffer lives in our master closet. If I couldn't see the dust and had to move the bed to clean it wouldn't be on my radar. SaveSave

If I had to move the bed, never. But I have a high bed and hardwood floors, and I don't store anything under it. It's probably the easiest place to clean in my house. I like to chase the cats around with the swiffer, so they help me clean under the bed. It's actually kind of fun.

Under the nightstands, probabley 3-4 times per year. I just take the bottom drawer out to vacuum under and I use the skinny attachment to get behindish (it won't get it all).
Same with under the dressers, only they only get it a couple times per year, I pull out the bottom drawer to get under.

Our bed is heavy wood and hard to move so I took off the mattress and box springs to vacuum under it a few times. We also had stuff stored under it until I did a big purge last year and decided I wanted nothing under it. Now I have a Roomba that vacuums under there about once a month and it makes me feel so much better to know it's clean. The first couple of times I set the Roomba to clean under there it picked up so much stuff! The cat likes to sleep under there now that there's no junk under there. This is what we did to get behind the headboard since we had to move the mattress anyway to wash the dust ruffle that had something spilled on it from the grandkids.

ETA update: I suppose the area I'm really talking about is behind the headboard and night stands. That's the area that never gets touched. I'm supposed to vacuum behind there?

Great question.
We moved into our house 3 years ago and we haven't done it yet. So I'm going to go with never.

Two hairy dogs. More often than most but probably not enough. My corgi thinks under the bed is his fortress since he easily can walk under it.

How do you get two Tuesdays in your weeks? I asked my fairy godmother just like any princess would. I should look into that, since as you can see, I AM the Princess of Procrasti Nation.

fortunately there is enough clearance under the bed to get in well with the Swiffer. there is nothing else under there to get in the way so it's pretty to maneuver around the legs and supports to clean.

I vacuum as far as I can reach once a week when I am vacuuming the rest of the floors.
I actually move the bed and nightstands out twice a year and vacuum. (My bed is against the window and I have to move it to wash the windows, so I do it when I do the windows.)

Old house, tiny bedroom, king-size bed. In order to clean under the bed everything has to be torn down and carried into the living room. Happens once every lifetime or so.
